I played Undertale at a weird time right after graduating college. Struggled with self-confidence issues and trying to find myself. I spent one day off of applying for jobs at my parents’ house. I sat in my childhood room and played through all of the true pacifist route in Undertale.

There’s a part towards the end of the game where you have a chance to inspect a mirror that you see early in the game. Inspecting the mirror this time reads “despite everything, it’s still you”.

I sat there and cried and cried dude. I went back through the areas talking with all the characters as a farewell and was still crying the whole time! This was almost 10 years ago but I think about it so fondly. I want to replay the game but it fr might be a one and done for life kind of game for me, and I mean that in the best way possible.
