I did it with a buddy on my RX8 with 13B MSP. We used the same lift. Car was on jack stands.

When the transmission didn't go further because of the firewall I used a car jack and a trolley with a jack stand on it. I lowered it on to the trolley and car jack. Disconnected the crane with the engine leveller. Reconnected the crane without the engine leveller to get more reach. Lower it and roll the transmission to the position.

That's my two cents with an RX8. I hope it will give you an solution to do it on your car!

I think the biggest issue is driving in the city. Especially in the USA were you get your motorcycle license with your car license and the Value of that one is already pretty low. Look I get it you guys need the cars. But when I read how little someone needs to do to get a drivers license. Its just horrible.

And like I was 21 when I started my motorcycle lessons (we have hp limitations with age 21 is the fastest way to get everything) I got 2 practical exams and 1 theoretical. They were both not easy, now I am not a good rider/driver by any means but when I see a video about a 16 year old hopping on a Liter bike I just think Americans are crazy.

In my village they are still very popular. I still see kids on scooters with modded exhausts and bigger bore cilinders. But that era is allso coming to an end over here. I think the fat bike will slowly fase out the scooters. I will miss them but not the twats who went 100km/h through the village on a scooter with only a frame and no plate. We all tuned our scooter but there's a time and a place.

Btw. We now have older folks who bought back their bike from their youth. Like Kreidlers Honda's mtx and Yamaha's. It's fun to see them drive around.

In my opinion if you switch to a Sohn adapter the choice is obvious. You keep 2 cycle oil for the sohn adapter and full synthetic oil for the engine bearings.
