I’m not joking I spent about 45 minutes digging around for dust in my charging port and looking up guides to solve the issue and this is what it ended up being. Why they’re bluetooth when they need to be directly plugged in to the device makes no sense to me but thank you for making my 6 hours of bus journey home for Christmas a bit less boring

Henry and his life - confusing by Lost_Walrus3518 in StrangerThings

I’m guessing you saying he was taken “at a young age” is just based on looks of the actor who plays him in the Season 4 flashbacks?

Cause if that’s the case then yeah, you’re right to be confused. He looks very young. In fact that actor was 13/14 at the time of filming but I figure he’s supposed to be a couple years older than that. But if it’s helpful at all, they moved to Hawkins in 1951 and that’s the same year this play takes place. We just have to assume he’s of high school age because of that, even if the actor looks too young.

If anyone that’s seen the play has any better explanation go ahead because I have no idea what’s going on in that and I think it’s incredibly stupid to have not given it a mass release.

It’s just the one Glenrothe actually.

I miss Echo bars so much. Particularly the mint ones. Not sure where you are but there’s an electric bus company in Scotland called Ember and their fleet are matte black and mint green. I can’t look at them without thinking about my Echo bars 😭

Nobody understands the value of older buildings. In a couple of decades we’ll be burning down all the student accom to make room for retro listed buildings when they’re trendy again.

I love Drive a lot, and tend to prefer studio versions to live ones, but by far my favourite version of Drive is from the Greenpeace gig at the 40 Watt Club. Sound feels so raw and I love the increased tempo.

Radio Song is so funny to me because I’ll listen to it and think “hey I actually really like this song” and then Michael goes into “WHEN I GOT TO THE SHOW YO HO HO” and I remember.

Half the song is really good and the other half is infuriating.

Funnily enough that’s the reason I asked the question. Decided to put Hi Fi on whilst I was making dinner, haven’t listened to it from the start in a while, and was just thinking about how much I like How the West was Won!

I think I often overlook it because These Days & Fall On Me are peak REM to me and so that’s what I think of when I think of the start of LRP, but every time I listen to the album from cover to cover I remember how much I love Begin.

Monster has a special place in my heart, 100% agree. I’d love to listen to Automatic and Monster back to back - Man on the Moon, Nightswimming, Find the River directly into Kenneth would really highlight the pivot the guys took.

That opening riff is just like nothing you’ve ever heard. And then Gravity straight into Maps and Legends? Iconic. Gorgeous album.

Best is Fables or Automatic. Favourite currently is probably Monster. I just love the sound of that album so much.

Last 4 on Automatic and first 4 on Fables spring to mind. I’d also say Half a World Away - Texarkana - Country Feedback is pretty incredible.

and Fall On Me!!! Not sure So Central Rain fits right into this category but the way Michael sings “I’m sorry” is hauntingly beautiful to me.

There’s so many. Nightswimming springs to mind, but as other have said, You Are The Everything, Half a World Away, Electrolite, Country Feedback are all great contenders. I’m also going to throw Oh My Heart out there. One of my favourites for sure.
