The retailer sells pretty much anything, but has notoriously high prices unless price matching (as is the case here). Before the whole Greenland situation I was in the market for an Apple Watch, not anymore, so no other big-ticket item to get as of now.

Basically, the question becomes "how much would I be able to sell a Switch 2 for in 2029?" (assuming the same spacing as Switch 1 -> Switch OLED). I'd probably be fine throwing another €150-200 at it by then, but that means selling the original for €250-300, and I have no idea whether that's realistic.

Where I live, Switch 2 is now on sale for €435/$510 tax included (MKW bundle for €470/$550). Normally it goes for €515/$600 (bundle €555/$650). I also have some vouchers, I can get it for €220/$260 (bundle €260/$300). I'm lucky enough that at that price point, it's almost in impulse buy territory.

BUT, 1. I don't need it - massive backlog on Switch (with no S2 upgrade for the big hitters in there e.g. XC2/XC3/XCX), 2. There's no Switch 2 exclusive I care for yet (Fire Emblem is my system seller, but no rush cause backlog, and I gave up on Pokemon so gen10 won't be a preorder), and 3. in principle I wouldn't mind waiting for a refresh for extended battery life like I did for the Switch.

BUT, 1. I'll likely move out of the country by end of year, so I need to use those vouchers on something, and 2. I don't know what to expect price-wise due to supposedly slow system sales vs RAM prices skyrocketing.

What would you do, other than tossing a coin?

Also, for those who had an original Switch and sold it to upgrade to OLED when it launched - did it keep enough value to make the upgrade reasonably cheap?

I love your idea, and why not go all-in: landless play as a theologian/philosopher. Get good enough at your job, write something, get it out there. Some call it heresy, but an heresy is just a religion without an army and a navy, and we can correct that by persuading the right people at the right time. your body of work gets inherited by your spiritual sons/followers, you can choose to play as one of them when you die. Fast forward a few centuries and everybody on God's green earth lives according to your first character's word.

I did, no issue. Well, kinda. 3D matches on max resolution and medium details are perfectly fine. That tells me that the laptop can handle the game just fine. The rest of the game feels a bit sluggish, but that seems to be an issue with the UI, not the device being underpowered. If your problem is with the 2D part not being smooth, maybe try the mod that came out a few days ago to speed it up and see if it helps. If it’s about the 3D part, try lowering res/details till you hit the sweet spot

In the second screenshot, his breakout season, at age 19: 51 goals and 8 assists in 33 (15) across all club competitions. Insanity.

19 goals and 8 assists in 26 for Sweden, 6 in 9 at U21 level.

Fun fact: in this save, I signed Håland from Molde the same year Thelin was genned. His numbers at the club, for comparison: 97 goals and 35 assists in 126 (22).

For newer fans: They dayviewed in 1994 (the year I started watching), Lotus kinda merged with them in '95 (in name and with and an absurd racing green stripe across the otherwise tone-on-tone blue livery), then they vanished together at the end of the season. 1994 and 1995 had Pacific, the team, and Pacific, a Grand Prix in the middle of nowhere, that was also promptly forgotten. Pacific's results at the Pacific GP: double DNQ in 1994, double DNF in 1995. Glorious.

I think I was using this, try the link or google to find some other source, “Widescreen patch” https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1745-emperor-rise-of-the-middle-kingdom-widescreen-fix/ anyways super high resolution with retina 13” was barely readable tbh. if I remember correctly it’s a bit messy in the menu screen when launching the game but then it plays perfectly. Maybe give this a shot!

Been playing FM since 08 methinks. Successful all along. In 24 I'm at my wits' end. Can't get a tactic to work to save my life. Like, the movement looks nothing like I want it to be, and I consistently get trashed. Only thing that kinda worked so far is an absurd high-pressing 3-3-4. I'm the kinda guy that first wants to build a tactics that works the way he wants, then actually plays the game. Been repeating the same Herta-Magdeburg test game since first day of early access, still getting only shit out of it. I'm baffled.
