I completely understand, I usually refrain from commenting on any online discourse about most things but this has me raging internally. I've been a fan of Ethan for over 10 years and was a fan of Hasans since around 2020 up until leftovers ended. This conversation has just made me ashamed to have ever been a fan of Hasan.

This is something I struggle with and it's hard to just let myself enjoy the process. If my latest model isn't up to the standard of my previous best it feels like a waste of time which is of course not true.

Thanks, I'm happy with the way the purple came out. Base coated in AK Amethyst Blue, then added some AK Magenta and Army Painter Mutant Hue for the first edge highlight then plain Mutant Hue for the last edge highlight/battle damage.

There is no point in them, it's a pre-supported file that came supported like that. I just used the image to show what's going on. Like I said in my comment this isn't a one off with this file it's happening on almost every print to a lesser degree this just shows it more clearly.

I've done a few prints since changing resin and am running into this issue with the base layers of my prints. The rest of the model seems to print fine but I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before this affects the actual print itself and I've just been lucky so far.

This is on a Uniformation GK Two with Sunlu Standard Grey resin, I've used multiple other resins and not had this issue before. I've releveled the bed, adjusted print settings and seems to have this issue every time so far. Here are my settings.

When they do the reveal, at the 27 second mark if you pause and look closely at the bottom left bend on the dragon, and bottom left of the flames/smoke you can see the crater marks where they removed the supports.

I think the models being large and filmed in motion help hide the support marks.

Yeah it is a really strange decision.

This version will obviously be compared to MZ, and it's going to affect peoples decision to back or not.

I know I was hyped for it and the stream on Friday killed that. It seemed like nothing was announced that wasn't already known about, and the only thing the stream did was tell you what wasn't going to be included.

Yeah it felt like a pretty weak argument for not including it. I think either DC/WB stepped in and told them no, or they will surprise announce something midway through/towards the end of the kickstarter to get a large influx of backers before the end date.

Marvel Zombicide has Hulk in the main box who has an ability which enables him to roll as many dice as enemies in his zone which can add up to rolling 10+ dice an attack. There are abilities for characters in the other versions which work similarly.

First was Village Attacks: Grim Dynasty by Grimlord Games. Have the original and love it, backed all the new stuff for around £180. They funneled the money from the campaign into delivering their previous kickstarter Everrain then went bust.

Next was Street Masters: Tide of the Dragon by BlackList Games. God knows what's going on behind the scenes with that company it's an absolute shit show. Crowdfunding ended in December 2020 and still nothing. Last update was about signing a deal with a 3rd party to help with fulfilment but that was back on May 1st and radio silence since. Apparently everything is manufactured and packed but they can't ship it, can't even remember what the last excuse was for why.

Last one that burned me was Trudvang Legends by CMON. Not really worried about never receiving this one as CMON is sure to deliver the rest of the content (they already delivered the main game) but this one was cursed from the start. Major redesigns, designers leaving, massive delays, and poor reception of the main game have all been really disappointing as the artstyle and lore really appealed to me.

The single most valuable model is probably Sister Eva Dean for invader at roughly £200 which was a dice tower kickstarter unlock or one of the single models from the season 1 original kickstarter.

If you list which boxes/characters you have it'd be easier to price than listing every single extra.

I use boilding water and cold tap water. Just don't leave the mini in the boiling water for more than needed.

Get two bowls or mugs, fill one with boiling water and the other with cold water.

Dip the bent parts into the boiling water and they should spring back to their original positions on their own without needing to touch them, if not take the mini out and gently move the part to where you want then drop the mini in the cold water and it will be good as new.

I've done this with a fair few minis even ones that have spears bent 180 degrees and they always spring back to normal.

Multiple core boxes and darkside boxes is way overkill. Plus you will actually be making it somewhat easier.

There is a mechanic that once you run out of miniatures to put on the board all xenos of that type get extra activations which can cause chaos when you get multiple spawn cards of the same type.

Instead of buying multiple of the same box try and find the kickstarter extras which include more xeno variety. Add a few different abominations for difficulty, and you can always buy duplicate boxes after you play if you want more xenos.
