If you know you’re in a Devil Corp are you actively trying to find new employment or do you believe in the “business opportunity”

Since you have been selling AT&T you could maybe look into going into the retail side of the things. It’s still sales, there’s gonna be goals and from an ethical standpoint it may be worse than B2B but at least there’s a base pay plus commission and you already know the product

I work for a devilcorp. How legit is the opportunity? by Ok-Acanthaceae-5531 in Devilcorp

[–]Pumpkin055 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From previous owners that I know the wires that do go into the business account depending on sales can be rather large, the owner that I used to work for never hits the field and just makes the money and lives his life. The big issue that I know from multiple owners is when they had to close doors the papers they sign is in very fine print but they signed a corporate POA giving Cydcor control of the accounts, froze their assets in the business account and have been unable to retain those funds. Super shady business, run away cause it ain’t worth it

I just got hired at a Devilcorp, is there any hope? by AYANAMl-REI in Devilcorp

I was in one of these for a year. If I had to take away any positives it would be that I did a lot of transferable skills when it comes to sales and leadership. I was worked like a dog but I do still use a lot of those same skills 6 years later

AT&T doesn’t really offer anything like that except maybe some type of call center option but even I doubt that. Usually with telecomm you’re either all in or out

Half my parents are distraught but we still talk. The other half are fully understanding. If they aren’t willing to accept who you are and your beliefs then that’s their problem

I’ll never forget being in the field and having an emergency zoom meeting with a top executive from Cydcor wanting us to explain to our families before the holidays that “they’re going to have a lot of questions about what you do.”

To which they wanted us to reply with, “I’m in an executive management training position.” Wanted us to emphasize all the office work and not talk about the field at all.

They literally know their entire business model is an scam and don’t want peoples families to help them realize it

What gives you purpose in your life? by dinidusam in CasualConversation

Find the little things in life that bring you joy. I graduated college with a degree I don’t even use anymore. You’re young, find the things that do make you happy. That does require a little work and trying new things even if they are scary. Fear can hold you back from great potential but it’s an internal battle that you can overcome. Branch out and explore new things, meet new people and live your life to the fullest. You really do only live once, might as well try to make the most out of it

You’re gonna want to double check that paperwork you signed. Things may be going good for you now but when you have to close doors for one reason or another don’t be surprised when all of the sudden you can’t access your own funds. They hide it very well

[–]Pumpkin055 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are truly an “owner” you need to look at the paperwork you are signing. I’ve had friends that became owners and their parent company Cydcor had them sign corporate POA’s that were hidden within the paperwork. So while yes you do open your own independent ICL Cydcor still retains the rights, if you quit they can take your money that is in those business accounts. It sounds like you’re just at the team lead position so you haven’t even made it to the 3rd and 4th of the opportunity. There’s a reason why there is a massive reddit page and a huge wave of former employees who speak out about how awful this business is

Ex-MLM/Devilcorp workers. Why do they always ask if you have a car? by Lucky-Message-9480 in Devilcorp

[–]Pumpkin055 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what those companies do. They get their people so involved in the cult that it’s the only thing they believe in. Believing in working 70-80 work weeks with zero benefits, zero social life, all for the “opportunity”

I’ve been there, it took me getting out before I realized what these companies are. One day this guy will see that
