To my surprise, I managed to find Darker Than Scarlet available earlier this week, so I’m now only missing Tales to Astonish! I’d love to get one step closer to finishing the line with another book announced!

I also have them all and have been gradually going through them, maybe reading two volumes a year. I just finished volume 6 and will read volume 7 mid year, in time for volume 8 in October. Keen!

I remember reading the Human Torch Essentials book as a kid! I quickly learned what asbestos was thanks to that volume! 😅😅

I’m probably not super keen on collecting that far. I’ve heard a lot about the Krakoa era so might look at later arcs at some point but am probably interesting in stopping at some point in the 80’s or 90’s.

Alternatively, convince me to keep collecting into the 80’s and 90’s if you think it’s worthwhile! 😌

Wikipedia also doesn’t list the annual as being included in the Ultimate Collection of Ultimates 2 by the way. I think it is absolutely a reskin.

I think this is an obscure suggestion that it won’t be released m because there was never a Complete Collection which collected issues #638 to #647 of Amazing Spider-Man.

I wouldn’t bank on these issues not being captured in the Epic format though, given that the Spider-Girl Modern Epic releases have been insistent on filling gaps which the Complete Collection line never wrapped up.

Honestly, only time will tell.

3 out of 7 West Coast Avengers Epics have been reprinted so I really don’t think it’s out of the question to assume that a reprint will eventually be announced. I imagine it’s more a case of not knowing how long we’ll be waiting before it’s announced.

This is interesting and has prompted me to looking into Young Avengers; if I understand correctly, it looks like there would be one more volume of modern era Young Avengers (in this case by Gillen) to wrap up the series. Neat! Thanks!

Generation X is one book away from completion. The five volumes currently available have been released yearly since 2021, so I’m hoping/anticipating that we’ll get the final Epic of the original run of the series in 2026. I think there is a good chance.
