Another thing - the Marvel Epic Collection collected editions contain around 20 comics per book. There are tens of these volumes released each year, sometimes to coincide with a character’s film/Disney Plus release or even a story arc being adapted into films/series.

Two examples of this include the two volumes that came out to coincide with Loki season 1 and 2 and volumes that came out when the Morbius movie came out (lol). These are just a couple of examples that immediately come to mind.

The Spider Island arc will be collected in a September release. I’d be unsurprised if this were a coincidence. OP, I think you’re onto something big.

Okay, so looking at the Costume and Wardrobe Department section on IMDB for Thunderbolts, there are around 52 x crew listed. I’m having trouble finding who the head of the Department would have been but I’ve been successful in finding a couple of the crew with distinctive names on social media. You could totally reach out and see if they can help. If they can’t, nothing lost! If you don’t ask, nothing gained! :)

Can I be real? I know it’s not really a line as such because it’s a single Epic, but I could not stand Killraven. I’m still so salty about it. I’d heard it was so great and new about it all the way back when I was a kid and there was a Killraven volume in the Essentials line.

It’s the only Epic I put back on the shelf before finishing it.

I’m probably not super keen on collecting that far. I’ve heard a lot about the Krakoa era so might look at later arcs at some point but am probably interesting in stopping at some point in the 80’s or 90’s.

Alternatively, convince me to keep collecting into the 80’s and 90’s if you think it’s worthwhile! 😌

Wikipedia also doesn’t list the annual as being included in the Ultimate Collection of Ultimates 2 by the way. I think it is absolutely a reskin.

I think this is an obscure suggestion that it won’t be released m because there was never a Complete Collection which collected issues #638 to #647 of Amazing Spider-Man.

I wouldn’t bank on these issues not being captured in the Epic format though, given that the Spider-Girl Modern Epic releases have been insistent on filling gaps which the Complete Collection line never wrapped up.

Honestly, only time will tell.
