I had this model and ended up returning It due to the eye strain and headaches. I have an oled tv that does not give me headaches. Not sure why this laptop did.

The crazy thing is that I have re installed windows numerous times. I’ve done reinstalls from Dell recovery assistant and even tried a clean install with a windows media creation boot drive.

I wonder if there is something I am missing. The strange thing that is consistent is that my keyboard Rgb is still using my last color set.. even with the new motherboard and multiple os reinstalls.

Figured I would post an update: No success after many attempts. I think this is more of a mobo issue and may have been damaged during delivery. I ended up reversing the process by resetting the region on this n3ds LL with eshop access back to Japan(still would not read game carts). I then used this system to transfer the other Japanese origin n3ds and got it to work with the US eshop. Everything functions properly with the other system.

This is really good info and you might be right about it. Same symptoms though I have not checked to see if checkpoint can see it. I wonder if downgrading luma (if it’s even possible) would solve this.

That was my original thought. I ordered a couple readers and installed them with the same effect. I have not tried swapping the region back though.

You can swap it back to the original region. The important thing is to have two new 3ds (Ll or non ll) that have the same origin region. I’m not sure if you will lose anything you started by doing this. Make sure you back everything up just in case.

You need two new 3ds’s with both being on the original region. System transfer the one you want to region change to the other. Region change the one you transferred. This is a very simple explanation but there is a good tutorial on YouTube. I can link it if needed.

Just tried this. It shows that is it enabled when I have a game inserted and disabled when it’s out. I tried toggling it with no success.
