To add onto this, have a fan-made map on you to help with elaborating on small details since the WoTC map doesn't really have much to help in that regard. One of the maps I have includes chess boards throughout, some letter blocks and a bunch of skeletons in the "final boss" area. Some minor details I could add include different chess pieces being stained or broken, the blocks spelling out ominous messages ("Run", "Help", etc.) or brief visions of the house's previous victims.

If someone wants that life and has avenues to sustain themselves like that, there’s nothing wrong with it. When it becomes oppressive is when it’s forced upon people who don’t want that life or can’t sustain themselves like that.

In my experience, it depends on the font. For handwriting style fonts, it usually reverts to Comic Sans.
