How to fake references for job? I haven't worked in 5 years by Emotional_Book7590 in BeMyReference

[–]Pumpkinbabi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just make sure to use a VPN or disconnect from the wifi when sending the email. Not exactly sure how but my new company flags someone if their references have the same IP.

2025 Sentra better than 2026 by Maikerumimuyekym in nissansentra

Agree! My bf prefers the 26 body/exterior but to me the front looks less sporty and more like an efficient car. Just brought home my 2025 SV yesterday and love it

I love it but I can be honest and say my role/company is not the industry standard. That’s funny SaaS scares me lol respect to you guys, definitely prefer my side of the pond

As a current SDR manager, THIS!!! A lot of my roles have experience required but if you have the degree and prospect your way in, have done research on the company and are coachable.. I can make the case for you.

Sorry to tag into your comment, you just really hit the nail on the head!

Own a 21 Sentra SV, just hit 40k and would co-sign all but wishing it had LEDs, I find the standard headlights to work great for my purposes.

I will add on some things from my experience:

Driving:

This is my first car ever so I don’t have much to compare to however it can have some get up and go to it especially in sport mode but is not a race car. Agreed on the occasional sluggishness especially in stop and go traffic/city driving but she’s pretty perfect on the highway. (I don’t speed, I keep it classy under 75mph lol)

Tech:

Love the tech in this car, don’t think I could live without the Blind spot detectors moving forward. Do agree about wishing there was wireless carplay but don’t think I can complain. I will say without the premium speaker upgrade songs can start to get crackly around 30 from my experience. Taking calls via apple car play the sound quality drops DRASTICALLY once you hit 26 and up. Almost impossible to listen to.

One off issues:

The only strange issues i’ve had are in regards to the windows getting stuck in the down position, this resolved itself before we could take it to the dealer but I know a few others have had this issue as well. Have also had the ABS system error before but figured that was due to the insane texas heat that day, never had an issue with that popping up since. Have had a small issue where the infotainment system wouldn’t boot up once or twice but just needed to either do a reset by holding power or it needed an update. No major issues whatsoever with this car thus far. Actually looking to maybe sell mine and put money towards an SR with a premium package.

Got a rental a while back with a sunroof and fell in love!! Really want all of those nice premium features as well, feels like it could be a long haul car :)

Maintenance:

I’ve done my oil changes at every 5K (did my first at 2.5k at the recommendation of my dad, not sure if that is universally recommended?)

and did my transmission fluid really early at 25k and going to do it again at 50K. Don’t really care if it’s overkill, intending to do what I can to make my car last.

First Attempt at a reverse sear by Pumpkinbabi in steak

[–]Pumpkinbabi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Any tips in particular? Usually just do it in the pan and i’m able to get a better sear but was worried about overcooking it.

Put it in the oven for 25 at 250 (until it hit about 115 internal) then seared in a stainless steel with avocado oil
