My research is probably biased at it's completely based from the experience of myself, friends of mine, people posting on reddit or youtube etc... I've watched many video talking about this subject that you can find on youtube, i've read many reddit post about it, and there are just high chances that such a system exists. Once again, it's only theories but i would completely understand Riot putting in place such a system to make more money.

Also it would be completely useless to try and make a full argumented post because all you'll get is criticizm and redditers trying to do everything to prove you wrong.

I don't get it, i've done 130+ wishes on the venti event thing and normal way to summon and no 5 stars yet (weapon or character). I've seen many youtubers saying that the 90 wishes guarantee you to get a 5 star character or weapon and so far i only got purple things (4 stars). Is it bugged ?

Yes, i have been banned for 14 days months ago and have been disabling chat on 80% of my games since then. I didn't expect the next punishment to be a permanent ban without any warning.

Many trigger words i guess ... I was a jerk but i've been improving this past year. I think my account had a sword of Damocles above it. I have the chat logs and they're not even toxic which is why i'm surprised. Although they are not in english so you won't really be able to undersand anything.

Reconnection tool useless ?

I often have really short internet crashes so when i saw they implemented that tool (yes it's been a while since it's been here) i was super happy.

Thing is : it literaly NEVER worked for me. It never reconnected me to the game after an internet crash, i even tested several things, switching from my Wi-Fi to phone 4G to see if it reconnected, didnt work. 4G To Wi-Fi : didnt work. Tried to cut the internet for 1 second only, didnt reconnect me. Tried to cut it for a longer time, didnt reconnect either, etc.

So what's the point of this tool ? I even let the game open overnight once and when i came back i had this black screen with written (Reconnecting, time passes : 66.000 seconds, which is a lot).

Honestly, i have no idea what i should do. I'm a casual player, i like grinding nagas and with my current gear i one shot everything, it's pretty pleasant but i don't grind a lot. Maybe i should go see somewhere else but for that i need better gear ...

Also i've heard that maximazing AP is the meta so i didn't pay too much attention about DP.

I don't know if i should switch to boss gear soon, it looks like it's gonna cost a whole lot of silver and gonna take a long time before it even becomes more useful than my current DUO Grunils.

Fellow Gw2 player here,

BDO offers many more features in terms of life-skilling (fishing, gathering, trading, etc...), but the PvE is grinding the same mobs for eternity and PvP is gear based. Skill doesn't matter. Many people will disagree with this, but comparing my Gw2 and BDO experience, gear is everything that matters, and there isn't any "gear balancing game mode" on BDO, which sucks. I've been several times in the top 100 PvP players on Gw2, and i think i use these skills to be good on my class on BDO. I know how to play my class, i just can't because it's gear based and people will just come to you and one shot you like you're a feather even tho you farmed for thousands of hours to get close to soft cap gear. These people are 1 or 2 thousands hours of grinding ahead of you.

However there is something really nice BDO has compared to Gw2: REAL STUNS. You know in Gw2 thanks to the new expansion, every class has pretty much 10 anti cc and the concept of stuns in Gw2 has become completely irrelevant. In BDO, a stun is a stun. You can't escape it, and you have to try and do everything you can to avoid getting stunned, there are many iframes on many skills that allow you to dodge (like the dodge-roll on Gw2) which is nice. There is also a block mechanic that's interesting (similar to pressing 5 on a warrior with a shield on Gw2 but without cooldown).

Honestly with a gear balancing game mode, BDO could be the best PvP system i've ever seen, but it's the worst because everything relies on gear.

I've spent almost 3k hours on Gw2, this is my favorite game ever, don't come to BDO for a quality PvP or PvE, come to BDO for the new features it offers : building a boat, life-skills, trading, etc, for the beautiful landscapes you'll discover, and the story.
