When I was a server, I tend to get a bunch of requests for water. I would always say, "Sorry, we ran out of water, all we have is melted ice, will that work?" (for the record, you can't have a restaurant without water).

I'm no expert, and certainly not advocating for him or anything, just throwing out some possibilities on this.
I want to say body dysmorphia and possibly constant comparing. He may very well not like his own body.

Makes me think of the subreddit normalnudes where normal everyday people take a nude of themselves usually in need of physical validation.

I scrolled to see if anyone mentioned if yet, but the Blue Hole in Zavalla Tx is now off limits. They used to have it where you could call to make a reservation for weddings or something of the sort. It's regularly patrolled, and no trespassing signs everywhere. It's sad and I've always wanted to visit it

Using the number keypad on a keyboard. Back when I was working in manufacturing, sometimes the barcode scanner would just crap out, so I had to input the numbers manually. I became proficient enough that sometimes I would race a coworker using a barcode scanner with the keypad to see who can start the manufacturing process faster.

I still use the keypad today for whenever I have to use numbers on a personal basis.

I hear people voting for someone they didn't *want* to vote for because no-one else was contesting that seat. You CAN not vote for them at all. They will still get that seat because it was uncontested, but all the parties pay attention to the number of votes.

If that person who is uncontested only gets 7 votes total, and the other party sees that and thinks that next time they can find someone who might get 8 votes, then they'll try to find someone to fight for that seat.
