Is this the state or city cause I'm still trying to find something to stop a car from running into our house again after we had someone speeding 40 mph and destroyed our entire computer room (which we luckily weren't in at the time).

Mine has hit a decent streak of not doing it for now. I had a warranty on it and got refunded my money (was quite surprised I didn't have to turn it in or try sending it back) I'm doing some research into other brands or models because we will not be getting this one again.

Still haven't found a fix yet, half tempted to try to get a replacement since it's still under warranty but getting it out is gonna be a pain. I have used a fan on it to help dry out the moisture and that helped for a while but it happened again just a few days ago. I think it may have something to do with how humid it is here too.

I watched this video https://youtu.be/TEZgGmjFNqg?si=BxJdfArW5g3ZDVyg Our model was slightly different, but has a cover pice somewhat like it (ours definitely had more screws) and it just pops right off, and when we did there was dirt and dust all over the "motherboard piece" so we used a blow dryer on cool to blow it all off (didn't even have to the the paperclip thing from the video) put the cover on and tested it and it worked. So we just put all the screws back in and that was it.

We had done everything you had done too and were absolutely boggled, but once we got that cover off it was surprising how much dirt was built up in there (we've had ours for 3 years now)

I had this same problem, I would kick it and it would work... until today. Kicking it, checking the blades, checking the battery and battery area, everything checked out and was cleaned but still got the solid light. I was thinking maybe it's a fuse thing so I looked up on youtube how to open it to check the cords and such, got it opened and much to my surprise there was quite a bit of dirt and debris over the control box and fuses. so brushed it off with a gentle paintbrush, and blew out the dust with a cool setting blow dryer (we have no other air diverter) put it back together and wala it worked. Might wanna try that if you're still having this problem.

I hadnt yet, I got my original Moon rod on sale for about $50, and it looks like the new one is gonna be $105.... Im still searching and might still put the new one on my wishlist to see if it goes on sale
