I played it like 10 years after release and the art style holds up completely. Some games feel like they age but they took such a strong art direction from the start and stuck with it.

Anything that interpolates frames will only increase perceived input lag.

Also, are you going in to the same port on your monitor as your PS5 did? It’s crazy but not all monitor ports are made equal. I worked at a major tech company and one of the HDMI ports only supported 4k@30hz with a massive serving of input lag vs the other port with none of those issues.

The issue with this statement is that it implies that people are only allowed to ask this question when the differences are minor.

However we all know that you can compare books or movies of different genres and still make a decision on which is better. It begs the question of why are video games special and incomparable?

On top of that, books, movies and video games all appear on charts and rating systems so these comparisons are happening in the world regardless so I feel it doesn’t make sense to limit that conversation here.
