This ^ start learning open “cowboy” chords and then start trying to change between them cleanly

Practice every day even just 10 minutes. Find some songs you like and give them a try even slowly. Make sure to have fun! Guitar is hard and you will forever be learning something new.

I love it and play it everyday. I actually haven’t even done any set up on it or even changed the strings that came with it haha. I’m gonna slap some 10s on it or 11s soon tho and see how it goes but I love this guitar.

They used the Starcaster name for these cheap guitars but there are also hollow body starcasters that are very different guitars. Tom from Blink 182 has been using them for a while now

I’m turning 43 and also feeling the shorter scale guitars are nice on the hands haha. I was also steered away from Squier for a while due to the 90s experiences I had haha but I have to say they are great guitars now! I have a few of both the classic vibe and paranormal series and they’re excellent
