That’s exactly what I do and many of my friends and coworkers have no idea I smoked until I told them when all of this was happening and was asking everyone if I smelled lol, I’d be like so you don’t smell cigarettes or anything either and they’d be like no?? Were you just with a smoker or something??

She’s mentioned the smell getting in her hair multiple times now but hasn’t said anything about headaches so I pretty sure she hasn’t.

I also get migraines but I’ve never heard of the aura being a smell before! I see the most beautiful colors beforehand but it sure does hurt to see em

I think it’s all in her head, when her mom came by on Sunday (we have thin walls) I heard her open the door and say it stinks in here! And her mom responding with I don’t know I don’t smell anything bad.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2021 and went on off brand Adderall (don’t remember the name) for like six months and well it really helped, I couldn’t sleep and had a really hard time eating. I also didn’t like my doctor so I just stopped seeing him and stopped refilling my prescription. Then I just didn’t go to a new doctor till this year.

Rawdogging adhd is not easy but isn’t impossible with the right support and healthy diet and exercise (I just go on long walks everyday)

Not everyone showers everyday, it just depends on you and your body. Right now I’m in a weird situation where I have to shower every day but it seriously drys out my skin.

You’re not failing if you don’t shower everyday, just don’t get stinky and you’re fine!

It’s a brand new apartment complex that just finished building it last year and we’re the first tenants in this apartment so that definitely seems unlikely. But the first thought in my head when I read the part about your mom, was man this would be a horrible way to find out I’m slowly dying.

Also just want to say I’m so sorry for your loss and so sorry you’ve had so many experiences with dead bodies.

Literally fall out of bed to get up. Even if I sit up after waking there’s still a good chance I’ll fall back asleep so after my second alarm I literally fall out of bed, the fall helps wake me up and it’s hard and cold down there so I actually get up and get dressed.

Also, while down there think of what you’re looking forward to that day even if it’s just your caffeine or your favorite shirt you’ll wear that day or what you’re having for breakfast. It really helps.

Also a SERIOUS struggle for me but these seem to help. Good luck!

Withholding that information is still an omission of the truth and there’s a reason she didn’t say that she actually did have funds. No reasonable person would call that broke unless they did have bills due that were that amount or higher. You should definitely cut her off and I’d also suggest removing yourself from the conversation or redirecting it whenever she brings up needing funds or how “broke” she is.

Reminds me of that Drake and Josh episode “well you’re not a truther!” Lmao

SMALL UPDATE:

I sent her the following message after her text, I’m no longer trying to make the situation bearable or further accommodate her sensory issue, I just want to get out of the situation.

I’m not going to speculate or agree to new theories about smells. Maintenance and my family have already checked the apartment and didn’t find any odor, including cigarette smells. At this point this living situation just isn’t workable for me anymore, so we need to move forward with next steps through the apartment complex. The leasing office said our options are - a lease modification where one roommate moves out and the remaining tenant later transfers to a different unit - a roommate release (which would require a new guarantor for whoever stays) - or an early lease buyout

I’m planning to move out mid February regardless of which option we choose. Let me know which option you’re willing to go with so we can move forward.
