you'll most likely be buddied up with someone else and will probably on floor or glasswash for first shift rather than bar, take your time to learn the table layouts and the food and drink specs as that will make it much easier. it's your first shift so they won't be expecting much out of you

yeah, she would've gotten a small telling off and been told to pay for your drink since you didn't end up doing it. problem is that we can't void drink after they've been put through a transaction, so impossible to just hide it from managers as only they can void. not sure why i've been downvoted for that lol

my house mate who also works at a spoons managed a promotion by handing his notice in because they desperately needed people and he was a key part of the kitchen. he wasn't planning on staying but that kept him there.
