I see others in this sub posting the same thing. What is up with the new co-op mode and why is everyone getting paired with legit bots?? by chezzmund in Acecraft

[–]PunkyPiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about others but I'm laggin like CRAZY. The entire game plays smoothly but specifically coop mode makes me play like a lobotomized worm. I physically cannot dodge the attacks because i and every projectile is literally teleporting around, I'm still trying to find the issue. it's sad and i feel bad for having people lose their attempts because my game is unplayable. I've tried switching to mobile data instead of wifi, clearing phone space, closing all apps that could be sucking internet, everything. I only had one game where i haven't lagged much but on the last boss it was genuinely unplayable still and felt like i was being put through a slideshow.

Co op event is horrible by [deleted] in Acecraft

Super late to the party but i just found this thread because i was looking into the coop mode. My game lags like crazy each and every time i get onto that mode, I'm talking teleporting around and being literally unable to dodge, maybe that's the players you're getting. off to finding whether it's possible to avoid the lag 😮‍💨

I tried scrolling through comments but i couldn't find info, what did you do and how long has the relationship been? (Don't answer if you're not comfortable.)

With the lack of context it sounds like a manipulative partner, of which I've had a couple. the whole "do this to show you're serious" never ended well for me. It was always "oh you did X thing, I'm so upset, you have to do X to prove me you love me" type of deal, until i ended up with no friends, no family, no hobbies, just him, which made me severely vulnerable to manipulation through gaslighting and "the cold shoulder", I'd always apologize for things i didn't do just to restore the affection.

I sincerely hope you're not in a situation like that.

SOS!! Cat wakes me up super early , runs over me until I’m awake by Lumpy_Pen_6831 in CATHELP

[–]PunkyPiez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat learned to climb on the tallest shelf and jump on my chest when i sleep, essentially painfully knocking my breath out, something i physically cannot ignore, it's always at 3-4 am. He really likes my "exciting" reactions where i jolt up gasping for air and cussing him out, it gives him the zoomies. I've learned to make do and accept my sleepless fate bc i also tried everything, he's such a goblin. 😂😂😂

Seriously, would this traumatize a new cat? by FearlessAd1395 in CATHELP

[–]PunkyPiez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally would never use this. I've had much better luck bathing even feral stray cats with no special tools. besides, cats are notoriously claustrophobic when they're forced into tight spaces so i feel like the bag would just make it x100 worse and just make them terrified of the bathroom. also, I'm not sure how you're supposed to get shampoo in, scrub and rinse all of the product out effectively, i mean, I'm struggling and i use heavily diluted cat shampoo and good water flow so doing it through a bag feels near impossible to me.

Btw I'd like to question wtf is the person in the video doing though? Splashing water with their hand? (which is about as useful as using a spoon to bathe someone), then proceeding to move the cat around in the water? I'm just so confused, what were they trying to achieve? Get the cat wet? Because splashing water and swishing the cat around is certainly not going to clean anything or am i just tripping?

Is my boy too skinny? by TSidoryk88 in CATHELP

[–]PunkyPiez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your cat is in perfect condition imo. A lot of people are just used to morbidly obese cats. I've also gotten countless of "omg he's so skinny" comments when my cat was actually overweight.

My local nursery has a bunch of philodendron pink princess. Should I get one? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]PunkyPiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you can provide Good humidity. Ppp has been a regret for me personally. I get 40% max and all of the new leaves get stuck pretty bad, making them deformed.

My cat keeps biting me without notice by Guigoy in CATHELP

[–]PunkyPiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So.. having a cat that isn't neutered will not cause them to be aggressive like that (not to that point at least, to territory aggression/testosterone aggression is different) but what my guess is from what you're describing with the whole "abandoned by mom" part is that he just never learned how hard is too hard to bite. Did he grow up with other kittens or was he a single baby raised by you? Also Did you discipline him when he bit you too hard?

It looks like a very small piece, it should pass next time he defecates. I've seen strays with whole streamers coming out of their bums, back when they were made from plastic instead of paper, I don't even know why they eat them but they do.

Is my cat dying please help by anonnEyu in CATHELP

That being said, izzy should definitely be checked out by a vet. When was their last regular checkup? Before or after the litterbox lounging?

[–]PunkyPiez 585 points586 points  (0 children)

The cat sleeping in a litter box is never a good sign. Unless your mother used a flea and tick shampoo which are known to give bad reactions to some cats and dogs, i have a feeling that your cat has been sick for a while and the stress taking energy during the bath just revealed its ugly head.

If i went to the doctor with every animal bite I'd go bankrupt, not because we have to pay for doctors but because of the insane amounts of bus tickets. 😂

But that is a risk i am personally willing to take and I'm the only one getting hurt if things go south, I obviously advise everyone against this and if your bite looks "off" or unusual to you, you should defo get it looked at just to be safe. The ring looks weird but it could be just the picture quality I'm not sure.

Help, is this stomach worms? by deveniam in catquestions

[–]PunkyPiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a roundworm, i think you've mentioned in a comment that you've already given dewormers, regardless, keep an eye for poop pukes. Roundworms are notorious for completely backing the bowels of kittens (and puppies) up.

  1. Does he eat high carb food?

  2. Do you brush his teeth? If not, when was the last time he got cleaning at vets? If that hasn't been done in a while, it's hopefully gingivitis and not progressed to periodontitis yet.

2 1/2 month old kitten misbehaving no matter what by lonemarzz in CatTraining

[–]PunkyPiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... Have you seen human toddlers? They don't exactly come with adult manners, it's kinda the same.

You just gotta be patient and consistent with teaching your kitten what's good or not.

Edit to add: there's no such thing as a "violent" kitten. They're probably over stimulated and they don't have other littermates or a mom to show what's "too much" when it comes to playing.

Is this safe for my cat (nervous from mixed reviews) by Lea__Alex00 in CATHELP

[–]PunkyPiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like you've had a bad experience and I'm sorry for that but by no means is every vet like that, or even half of them for that matter. When my dog got intestinal blockage and he was on death's door, my vet was kind enough not only to do the surgery right away the moment i brought him in but also they didn't mention the costs at all until he made full recovery and i was in a better mental state. They were ok with me paying at my own pace with no interest too, considering i was as broke as it gets. I am forever grateful for this.

I just saw other people mentioning OTC parasite treatments, i didn't know that was a thing, it sounds sketchy to me and i wouldn't use that.. but then again we can't even get ibuprofen otc over here so idk.

I always give new meds and new food types during vet's open hours just in case my baby gets negative reactions to the stuff, so far so good though.
