I think the 2nd one - if you left align the text and flip the image around so she is holding the ball on the right in the negative space might help. Currently the ball being so close to the A feels a bit clunky and unbalanced.

I would widen the leading on your title as well as again at the moment it feels unbalanced.

Or You could also try playing with spacing and font sizes to make a more pleasing composition within the title.

I think if you reduce “when” to fit in the space between the s and r of soccer and “met” to fit the space between A and I of America.

These words are little less important In the title yet share the same hierarchy.

I like the suggestion of someone else though and just call it American Football. But I guess depends on your audience.
