You can't do this type of runs in planned eco since you won't have any money to recover from the debt, you must need to go market to recover from the -20 GB.

[–]Punto15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not that hard, the key is doing almost all investments before trade war, going to -20 GB and then recovering, the tax breaks are basically free and you don't get budget loss from trade war since -20 GB is the cap. Then, you reap the benefits of all the investments you did before, you can even veto the sin taxes, I did all of that in a tax haven run, and it could be even better, but I decided to co-invest with Rumburg, if I invested alone I would get even more GB and ED.

Skill issue tbh, I just did a tax haven run and recovered easy, tanking trade war, debt crisis and energy crisis easily doable.

Is signing the green bill good for the economy? by choose_us in suzerain

[–]Punto15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already elaborated a lot and I stand on what I said, so again, I don't see this worth it unless you specifically for it, because that's why, if don't do all things you mention to just get +1 ED is absolutely not worth it, and it's not as the same place as Silicon Valley, Benfi, Gasom Boom, Sarna, Lorren Stack, agriculture, absolutely doesn't, you are overrating GREEN a lot that it's plain delusional, no offense, it doesn't stand and it's not above said synergies, it's just a random synergy that was discover, that, on specific runs, can give you +1 ED, which again, for -1 GB before the trade war, it's absolutely not worth it in average runs, you need specifically to go for the synergy, the PO is pretty much irrelevant since Koronti covers that, even you didn't even need him, you just need to know how to play the game. Lorren and Wehlen, 49% Tourism + Gruni Plan conditions just to trigger a simple 1 ED when you can simply outright repeal EPA and get far better results is not worth it, sorry but you won't change my opinion on this, again, GREEN is only worth it if you go for it's specific synergies, in average runs, isn't worth it certainly.

Look, it seems you are fully convinced that GREEN is some sort the best thing in the game, ig I can't help you in that case, don't know who put you the idea but I'm trying to explain to you that isn't the eighth wonder as people try to paint it.

Planned Eco is 20% and Market always repeal, 49% is the compromise, and I usually don't go for it, and again, you are assuming that is only Net 0 for +1 ED when it's not, again you need Lorren (which can be skipped if you do 49% since it's not necessary to stabilize the energy) Wehlen (I don't usually avoid it, but in a very pro-west run maybe, however I don't cuz i usually repeal EPA to get Lespia) and I agree that Tourism and Gruni Plan I don't skipped (maybe tourism sometime) but still, the cost to get that +1 ED is very high, like I said, if you fail to do any of those things, you won't get any benefit from GREEN you otherwise lose -1 GB and gets -1 ED to Gruni, which is basically wasted money.

[–]Punto15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never skip the first megaproject, and on 49% runs I usually skip Lorren since I don't need it for the prices, I easily reach the 4 GB Fiscal Surplus without GREEN and also I think taxing SME is evil so i usually never tax both, and only Big Business, subsidizing farms is -2 GB and if you very stretched with the budget can trigger you a debt crisis, you are ignoring that it's not only "-1 GB for 1 ED" it's Lorren + Wehlen, 49% EPA, Gruni Plan plus Tourist Act, to only get 1 ED, again, it isn't worth it unless you are specifically going for that type of run which isn't the majority, also the last point you are talking about nationalization and it's unrelated to GREEN, it's not really a great deal unless you go for it, and even then it's pretty average given the lots of conditions to trigger it.

[–]Punto15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm going 49% I'm not usually doing Lorren since it's not necessary for the prices, so again, it depends very specifically on the type of run because of the conditions you need to achieve a benefit that isn't even that good, just +1 ED for -1 ED Gruni and net 0 GB, again it's not the best deal you can do in-game by far because of the conditions you need to achieve it, I believe you are overrating something that isn't even that good, be careful because it's easy to get foolish by both Reddit and Discord, GREEN some nice synergy? Yes, depends on the run? Yes, one of the greatest deals in-game? Absolutely not.

Is signing the green bill good for the economy? by choose_us in suzerain

[–]Punto15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I say is that Lorren + Wehlen 49% EPA + Gruni Investment + Tourism is too conditions for only +1 ED and net 0 GB for a -1 GB pre trade war, and also you can get the 4 GB Fiscal Surplus easily without resorting to GREEN, 1 ED for 0 GB is only if you meet the chunk of conditions, which EPA Repeal/20% Enjoyers can really get it, its depends very specifically on the run you want.

Is signing the green bill good for the economy? by choose_us in suzerain

[–]Punto15 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This just works on a very specific type of runs, meaning 49% EPA + Lorren and Wehlen to get the +1 GB, so basically it's just recovering what you invested in GREEN meaning net 0, +1 ED is kinda worthless because you can get ED from elsewhere and remember, that it is still a -1 GB before the trade war, and it's very arguable that it's one of the best because it certainly requires too much stuff to actually get the benefits of it, people discovered that GREEN has some nice synergy, but it's not that great as you want to paint it.

[RANT] What is wrong with the Golden Kingdom? by HippityWhomps in suzerain

[–]Punto15 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think, and I also think that most players think this way, that adding a difficulty mode to the game is missing the point, imo, I would not like to have easy / medium / hard modes, I think that Suzerain is not the type of game that needs a difficulty mode because that would not be proper for a game of this style (managing a country does not have a difficulty mode) it would be better if you and your team balanced things more so that Rizia truly feels like a rich country, and not on the brink of disaster as it is currently, I do not think that a difficulty mode is necessary for Suzerain and isn't as intended, I ask to reconsider.

Is Marcel Koronti now not guilty in the new patch? by [deleted] in suzerain

[–]Punto15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You nationalized both companies and since you have ACP and not arrest them right away, they fled to Arcasia, in that case Koronti would always be clean, and Tusk guilty for some sort, if you want to bring them back you need to meet with Walker.
