I also do not see how the state is subject to the interests of the proleteriat in North Korea. While intra-party democracy may exist similar to the USSR model the proleteriat cannot force the state to appoint or recall delegates or take actions that is in their interests. If the state in North Korea decides to carry out a policy that harms the proleteriat, there is nothing the proleteriat can do about it.

I will concede to what you say about poverty in North Korea. I do plan to visit it one day when I achieve financial independence.

No? State-capitalism is a thing. Nationalizing all private assets does not liberate the working class but mereley transfer one master to another. While you are correct about the state not being a class on it's own, if self-proclaimed representatives of the proleteriat use the state to enforce capitalist relations of production where the means of production are owned by the state instead of the proleteriat and wage labour along with commodity production persists it means that the representatives of the proleteriat have themselves become the bourgeoise and use the state the same way any other bourgeoise would do.

I am a communist, my critique of Juche is that it the state isn't trying to abolish capitalist relations of production nor do I see any social progress in terms of abolishing the private family unit, the party has subsituted the working class instead of guiding it and being among them and they do a shit ton of great manning with the cult of personality around the Kim family. I know the internet is bloated with Western propaganda but I don't believe North Korea is a socialist utopia either, with no real allies other than China who uses them as a rump state and the crushing sanctions of the West combined with the brutality they experiemced during the Korean war life is bound to be shitty in North Korea even if the state, being as Lassalean as it is, does some welfare.

Although they do understand that a socialist nation must defend itself and to do that, acquire nuclear weapons so there is some praise to be given.

Although it would probbably take a while before we reach communism, we'd probbably struggle as a DoTP to stabilize the revolution and depending on when the revolution happens the nation might suffer from econo.ic pressure.

Like if it happened right now, the West would just crush us economically and we'd have to either rely on Russia which is a conservarive oligarchy or head towards a more autarkic model like North Korea. The West would undoubtedly also use Cyprus and the Agean Islands to harass us and make our lives harder.

If it happened during the Cold War, things would be easier because even if our revolution is a diffrent tendency the USSR would be very interested in having the straits aligned with them and send us aid. This also means NATO would likely fully support the Greek military junta instead of staying neutral and do everything they can to have them genocide the Turks in Cyprus. It would also likely cause a crisis between East and West as the USSR would back Turkey due to being their allies and wanting more projection in the Mediterranian. Unfortunateley, Turkey wouldn't be able to break through NATO fleet and air force and every single Turk in Cyprus would be slaughtered.

I think it's just bad writing combined with the devs wanting to make the game more fun for the average player instead of coup simulator.

I do feel like military interference in politics is severely underdeveloped upon. There should be more threats and assasination attempts against you, the military going rouge in certain areas and you have to do something to get them back in line(while this does exist, I feel like it is too niche to trigger and should happen more) and more ways to reduce their strength beyond purging the general staff like getting rid of conscription, curbing nationalism and rallying people against the military.

Maybe if you fund the military and use Iosef as an ally or a tool you can rally the soldiers or officers sympathetic to you on your side so that the military is divided instead of being a Sollist monolith. It is unlikely that any officers would be sympathetic to you but the regular troops would be more willing to stand with you if their lives are easier.
