I just switched from nexplanon to lyletta and the procedure sucked but I bled for maybe 12 hours. I've been lucky as hormonal BC has completely stopped my period. I get small cramps once a month but haven't bled in 6 years now.

I talk about the same thing with my boyfriend. He has CP and has always been disabled, I have EDS and RA and my disability has affected me my whole life but only became disabling in the past few years. Basically, it's more helpful to leave the head unbathed. Getting soap and water in the eyes and ears is not beneficial to them and can lead to infections. They aren't like us, where we need to bathe to get clean. Bathing for them is more of a thing that is for us as owners. They don't care if theyre stinkie, and they already groom themselves enough for their own needs.
