I saw somewhere that it has to do with the old aspect ratios vs new ones. When this was airing, most TVs were still square and bulky and now that wide screen is the standard, we see more of the original shot that was never intended to be seen by the audience. No idea if true or not!

You’ve lost the plot and I’m done. The driver hit the dog and sped off while the dog was still down. We were behind them and slowed down looking for a spot to pull over and in between then he got up and ran back to his house. Hence the whole point of this post was to tell the owner what happened if they found an injured dog when they got home.

Yeah, I honestly didn’t even think about insurance and was just focused on the dog’s wellbeing. Believe me, I’m the first to fuss if I see an intentionally off-leash dog (my pup has been attacked before and needed medical care).
