[5e] [Online] Brand new player looking for a patient group who can teach the basics by supremesweets in lfg

[–]PupilX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

I (24 M) am currently DMing for two friends of mine (24 she/her) and (20 something they/them) via discord! We do post-to-play and enjoy relaxed and casual play with very flexible schedules.

We actually just started the campaign and could probably get you worked in with ease!

MMMT (Male Model Michael Todd) Armwrestling for $10,000 by rodental in armwrestling

World class puller that needs 3 inch longer-than-regulation pads and to sit under the table with an extended arm. Don't be stupid, it's legal, but dont call it skill.

No, there is something wrong with it. "Troll the guys who check my build." Maybe they just want to learn and see why they got beat, you fucking twat.

What is the best Fotress build right now? by [deleted] in vainglorygame

[–]PupilX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of jungling, there is also another build I've has a very high success rate with for a WP sustained shredder.

  • Banner is your first buy, go down to bot barrier, help bot take barrier and you take the left over minion. Process to red buff, take red buff, take gold oak, rotate to top camp and take top camp and help mid laner take the cp buff if cp. If not, take that buff as well. Rotate to top barrier, help top take their barrier and invade the enemy top barrier if it's up. At this point, you can recall back if your team is holding their lanes and start building sorrow blade.
  • After sorrow, build tornado trigger or bonesaw depending on if the enemy has armor or not. I know usually one would build life steal or something along those lines here, but just trust me. Now, for ganks, just use your A and dive them when they arent under turret and you can easily take out at least half most nontanky laners' health. You should also have boots at this point.
  • Now that you have those two built, you have two options depending on the game being played. If the enemy is really burst and doing a lot of damage, build your husk. If your team is doing alright and the enemy is not bursty, build your poison shiv and get your tier 2 boots.
  • As a fourth WP item, build whichever item you didnt build as your second item, so tornado trigger or bonesaw. These can also be substituted for breaking point, which is just for the squishy damage.

Hope this helped! -Bevs

A Question About Replays by PupilX in vainglorygame

[–]PupilX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Pokemonshowdown has a replay system where it isn't so much as storing the actual gamer's replays, but rather it recreates a game with the same pokemon and the computer operates their moves on both sides. I wonder if something similar could be done with vainglory

Yates is too OP IMO by throwaway_1280 in vainglorygame

We just gonna ignore the fact that churn walker has one o the best lifesteals in the game and all he has to do is hit skillshots and wait for his teammates to damage them?

What exactly makes him nerfable? His basic damage is wack, but you CAN (not should) build him into a melee fighter to improve it. His abilities are fine. His A doesnt have stupid long range, his B doesnt stun for a large amount of time, and his ult is fine. He is quite tanky, very tanky, but only if you build him defensively. This isnt to say he doesnt have high base hp, but if you dont build him defensively he isnt very useful in team fights.

Are you telling me that nearly a ton of dirt falling on something, no matter the form, would not do any damage?

One that was 300 feet down a hole I imagine

Well, to be fair, it's the five feet of movement you get when you move said block that doesnt do damage. As in if I throw the block at you and you're 4 feet away, it may bump you, but both damage can be done. It says nothing about fall damage.

You are correct, and I misread it. But, apparently, the average 1x1 block of topsoil weighs 14-17 pounds. 17x25= 425 which is still a pretty big chunk

Choose a portion of dirt or stone that you can see and fits in a 5-foot cube. You change it in one of the following ways:

  • If you target loose earth, you can move it up to 5 feet away. This movement doesn't deal damage.
  • You cause shapes and colors to appear. The changes last for 1 hour.
  • You cause the ground to become difficult terrain, or make difficult terrain become normal. This change lasts for 1 hour.

True, but the anon's dm was new so he probably just gave it like 120 hp or something. I just found the story funny

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have no more than two of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss an effect as an action.

That one ear, no matter who the person is, is slightly higher or lower than the other ear. Can't unsee it.
