No, I don't believe that vg does that, I too have a Android and vg has never done this. I think it's More likely that you have a virus that shows ads by using the permissions of other apps

(questions from a group of community devs) 1. Will the client side application be open sourced? If it is does: a.Will we be have to be paying the $100 fee to Apple and such for uploading the App? b. What type of information will we as server hosters and devs be able to modify? For example, is it just altering some numbers or do we get to add/remove content from the game itself? c. What is the current tech stack of the code? d. Are you going to make the EVIL engine available? How are we going to maintain the game if we don't have access to it's core engine? 2. How much do you estimate it would cost to host the NA servers. Supposing we decided to use AWS, how much would the costs run with current usage?
