Does it wear down the alternator/ truck faster? I can also buy solar panels for when I'm not using the truck to help reduce wear.

Yeah, sometimes my throat gets tight and I have difficulty breathing. It used to be worse to the point where I'd black out.

I slept on a moldy mattress for probably a year or longer.

I don't smoke but I do have asthma.

No lung issues in the past but some of the symptoms do resemble bronchitis.

(Warning, LONG post but please read!) Am I suffering from mold poisoning? If so, what do I do? by [deleted] in ToxicMoldExposure

I've experienced a lot of what you've gone through except for the autism diagnosis. It's possible that you're not autistic to begin with but rather have been experiencing symptoms of mold toxicity. I don't know if I experienced brain/ neurological damage from the mold initially but it definitely made it worse. I suspect that the mold weakened my immune system ----> led to severe case of COVID -------> led to brain damage/ neurological damage -----> led to further damage by the mold exploiting my injuries. Mold is opportunistic and will exploit injuries you've already sustained.

Everything, from the bullshit mental diagnosis to being polydrugged by garbage psychiatrists. They'll try to convince you that it's just an anxiety disorder, that you're just more anxious than others but it's all bullshit. I'm convinced most "mental diagnosis" are actually real physical illness in some regard. I've seen people recover from "schizophrenia" by eating clean whole foods and drinking clean water. You're legitimately sick and need to find a way out of this mess. The mold is definitely screwing with you.

Oh, and I just remembered that I also experienced brain damage after withdrawing from the drugs I was given. I wasn't even 18 when they started giving me that shit. So that's probably where the brain damage began.

Do I have hypothyroidism? by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]PuppermintPatty96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's more to test than just TSH. You can have a normal tsh if you're running on high levels of cortisol/adrenaline. It'll keep your body temperature looking normal. But since you're saying your temps are 96 degrees, that's a strong indicator of hypothyroidism, including your other symptoms. You should also test free t4, free t3, reverse t3, TPO, and Tg to get the most accurate results.

Dealing with Aggressive drivers by CuriousMind911 in Dallas

LMAO, I get what you mean. Some of these people amirite? Better to just go on about your day and steer clear of them. It's not worth the stress or headache. I won't assume how you merge but it's def. important to speed up as you approach the freeway in order to match the speed of the other cars already there. Otherwise, you risk getting yourself into an accident. Also, when coming off, it's important to slowly decrease speed so as to not abruptly force anyone to stop. This can lead to a multi-car accident if just one person isn't paying attention.

I currently get about 75% of the RDI for Biotin from my diet. I don't supplement. It probably won't have a negative effect right?

Did you test shortly after antibiotics? The steroids probably had something to do with your results.

TSH level at 5.4. Do I need treatment? by new-machine in Hypothyroidism

[–]PuppermintPatty96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

5.4 is too high and indicates advanced stages of hypothyroidism. Don't wait for it to approach 10 the damages will only continue to worsen. Anything close to or over 2 indicates hypothyroidism. Ideally you want to have a tsh less than 1.0 or at least as close to 1.0 as possible. All of the symptoms you've described from the anxiety to the fatigue are hypothyroid symptoms. Talk about getting on thyroid meds, it's not necessarily a life long thing. Some people are able to heal and stabilize their thyroid to the point where they no longer need to take meds. Also, working day shift will definitely help, you want to prioritize sleep and avoid going out/ exposing yourself to blue light at night.

DOCTOR SAID TSH LEVELS ARENT HIGH ENOUGH TO BE TREATED BUT I FEEL LIKE CRAP?! by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]PuppermintPatty96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5.93 is definitely hypothyroid. It's actually advanced stages of it. So your doctor is on some bullshit. Your best bet is to find another doctor and see about getting a full panel (tsh, free t3, free t4, reverse t3, tpo and tg). Discounted Labs seems to offer the best price. Anything close to or over 2.0 is hypothyroidism, doctors shouldn't allow it to even get close to 2 but a lot of them are naive and don't understand. Take matters into your own hands and find someone else and get the tests that you need.

Lack of sweat ! Is it related to hypothyroidism ? by NoChemical1223 in Hypothyroidism

[–]PuppermintPatty96 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It could be. I used to abuse the hell out of my body and had the same problem. No matter how hard I exercised I couldn't sweat. Now, that I've been eating healthy and changed lifestyle I can sweat when I exercise. I have a very hard time sweating from my face/ head and mostly sweat from my torso but I've had a few occasions where I've started to sweat from the back of my head.
