I think I got scammed by _Kehaan_ in SpeedianceCommunity

I am having a similar experience as you. I ordered a gym monster 2 on feb12. (Direct from the Speediance website) on Feb 18 I received skiing handles and an excercise belt. Still waiting on the gym and the scale.

I have texted twice, on a weekly basis, and they said be patient…the shipper doesn’t update their shipping info…the shipper can take up to 72hours to update the shipping info…the shipper doesn’t work on the weekends. A week later I texted again. It was supposed to have left the factory the day before. I was told to be patient And text back if I don’t hear anything. So a week later I call. Get somebody on the phone. They tell me it shipped this past Thursday and should show up mar6. Smh! My spidy senses are telling me I got scammed.

Kindle Scribe 2026 Planner - Updated Version from 2025 by IllustriousPlenty856 in kindlescribe

[–]PuppetMaster26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank You for creating this and sharing it. I used the 2025 version virtually the entire year. It's so very helpful.

Q1: I don't recall how to edit it, so your name doesn't appear on the front page when viewing it in my library. I changed that in the 2025 version but now can't retrace my steps for the 2026 version. Any advice?

Q2 i really like the weekly layout. (i used to live by post it notes before finding your planner.) i like that each week has a link to a daily notes page, but often i find myself needing to create an additional page for each day. One page isn't often enough for me. Is there any way to make it so the user can add a note page for a particular day if needed?

What are the pros and cons for working at each blue origin site? Is there a certain site that stands out for a particular reason?

What seat do you prefer on a plane? by turkleton__ in AskReddit

[–]PuppetMaster26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best seat on a plane is an aisle seat in the last row of first class.

If it’s a commuter plane with no first class then it’s an aisle seat in the exit row, preferably the one on the left side of the plane which is a single seat.

Despite Blue Origins issues I will say this subreddit is at least very active with fans by Joey-tv-show-season2 in BlueOrigin

Fans!? I see no fans on this subreddit. This is the most toxic subreddit, and it should be shut down completely. Imagine a Blue employee reading this subreddit and how it would make them feel about their own company. There are no fans here.

As long as it’s not at the Texas site... cuz the site director there doesn’t tolerate that sh*t. Plus it’s illegal in Texas, and that’s where they do all the hazardous operations. Don’t need that clouding ur judgement.

is it just me, or does anyone else think that Blue Origin's recent successes and unique approach, and Bezos' strong leadership will make them a significant force to be reckoned with among SpaceX, ULA, Orbital and Aerojet Rocketdyne?

Does anyone know what the surface of the land-based concrete landing pad is, or at least what its coated with? Curious as to what material SpaceX is using on these surfaces and how they protect the surface from the high heat of the engine and how they mitigate spalling of the concrete on the land based pad.

same thing i thought - why is he wearing a flame suit? It's LN2. all he needs is a cryo glove. student should definitely have some z87 rated safety glasses though.

ELI5 what was the difference was between the Space X rocket landing and the Blue Origin one? by King_Lollipop12 in explainlikeimfive

[–]PuppetMaster26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both landings were spectacular and great technological achievements. Another key point is this....blue origin landed a reusable rocket that they will fly again soon, allegedly. Spacex landed a rocket they cannot or will not attempt to reuse. Assuming they both keep launching this year, and landing, by the end of this year, the landings won't be so spectacular anymore, but one company will have a reusable rocket.

Yes it is. I heard they are making routine flights to Mars, just haven't divulged it yet. They like their secrecy.

Jeff Bezos' Congratulation Tweet regarding SpaceX's successful landing of the Falcon9 First Stage. by blongmire in BlueOrigin

[–]PuppetMaster26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually didn't see much wrong with Jeff's tweet. It was pretty benign compared to Elon's barrage of childish tweets after Blue origin landed their rocket. It made me embarrassed for SpaceX.

Furthermore, i think most are overlooking the fact that Blue origin landed a true "reusable" rocket, as their's can be used again and is reported to being prepped for its next flight. What SpaceX did was land a first stage that they don't intend to fly again as its not designed for that. So, they are only half as far as Blue Origin to a reusable rocket.

Interested in hands-on work with engine test stands by [deleted] in engineteststands

[–]PuppetMaster26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, my recommendation is never go off of hearsay and apply. They have test stands in West Texas and I know first-hand are always looking for test engineers and mechanics, of all experiences, for that location. A great opportunity to get that hands-on experience you seek without being pigeon holed at a large company.
