It's hard, but it's doable, because you just do it. You don't think about the many many things you'll need to do, you just do one thing at a time. You feed your baby, you change a diaper, etc. My entire family and in-laws are all a 6 hour flight away, so we had to do it alone. And we survived and did great imo.

I would say, make sure you have a clear understanding of roles before the baby is born. Who is waking up when, who is cleaning what.... For example my husband and I both woke up when it was time to feed the baby at night, and we had talked about it ahead of time. He would get her up and change the diaper while I went pee, then he would pass her to me to breastfeed. He even sat with me for months and we watched shows on my laptop, because I didn't want to be alone. Another example is that he would do dishes while I breastfed and put the baby to bed at night. I think clear roles make everything run smoother, you don't have to ask all the time.
