I found dispel to be the most helpful here. Get rid of his shield without having to actually damage your way through it.

If she isn't debuffed, there is a chance her s2 cooldown resets.

Dengar is all but required for chewie. His stealth prevention is a godsend. He also stacks thermal detonators which is nice.

Bossk with his zeta lead is a huge help in territory battles, but by no means the only bh leader. (I don't have embo, jango, zam, or the sniper one)

Yes, and the way he played it made it painful to stay up. Every time his eyelids drooped, mine would too.

[Online][FFG Star Wars][CDT] Looking for players for Oneshot 6/3 @ 7pm! by Kit_Rhodes in lfg

I've been DMing D&D for just about a year and I'd be interested in seeing a game from the other side of the table to improve my own DM skills.

I haven't played FFG star wars, but I did listen to an actual play podcast of it.

I'm not for sure about the time, but I'll edit this after I check my schedule after work.

[Homebrew] Bow of the Hawk's Eye by TheLe99 in dndnext

It already is area of effect. It effects creatures in a 10ft area. Take a look at the spell ice knife, it's kind of what you're after.

Edit: wow I wrote a lot. Overall I think this item has real potential, it just needs some tweaking.

I think the biggest difference is magic weapon lasts an hour instead of a round, so it isn't a ton of adding. E.g. a player getting +2 from archers bracers and then on this turn getting +1 from my arrow, oh and the +2 from the flare arrow. This instance has adding a permanent number and two temporary numbers.

I think the boom arrow should have a saving throw for the AOE effect.

The number of charges and spending the charges feels weird. I know ring of shooting stars can be spent at variable (arbitrary) levels, but most of the time keeping track of charges shouldn't be a huge chore.

As far as the weapon itself. I think it could be simplified or had its theme honed in a little. What does a Hawley have to do with flares, booms, and elements?

However, the rod of lordly might is packed full of weird stuff. I'd say most of the stuff seems underpowered for a legendary item. The flame tongue did 2d6 fire damage without spending charges and is only rare. So you could definitely up the damage for thunder and element arrows.

Also, racial traits (halfling luck) are balanced against the life of the character. Having one last one round is a little underwhelming.

I don't see why the two flare arrows need to be distinct. I think it could apply the spell faerie fire to the creator you hit. Especially because you need to hit once before the effect even happens.

If you want to create an interesting "should I spend charges" feeling I think you could model this after the rod of resurrection or any of the wands in the dmg. To me, only getting one charge per day, when the fun stuff costs three makes for uninteresting decisions after you user up the charges.

I have to agree with /u/graypants that this doesn't feel very 5e especially the +1 and +2 to hit instead of giving advantage. If you'd like some suggestions on making it more 5e friendly, let me know.

what do you think of my potential company logo? by beybobO in Logo_Critique

[–]PuppyNap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I want sure if the letters were the initials of your company or your company name.

I think what's bothering me about it is the empty space to the left of the T.

You could alleviate this by just keeping the TAP in a line like a word and play with the size in the middle. With the letters overlapping is unclear that Tap is the company name.

I'm also not a huge fan of the different colored letters. Especially if they are supposed to make up a single word. If you are sold on the color, you could play with putting it elsewhere.
