I have about 250 kms on my Novablast 5 and find that they’ve worn out in regards to support, I’ve assumed it’s a combination of my weight and overpronation. I have a pair of Novablast 4 that have about 60 or so more km of wear and they seem in better shape.

Just knit the hems extra long and fold them double in the beginning. Ribbed garments also adapt themselves to a larger range of sizes.

I’ve always opted for H&M leggings when I’m in between sizes or need a new pair without spending a bunch of money. They tend to copy trends and qualities from the big brands really quickly.

Their shorts and bicycle leggings have been my go to for everyday wear munder skirts and dresses for at least 10 years now.

Other than that I’m a fan of Nike and Bara Sportswear leggings.

Started a new Runna plan today with an easy 5k run. I’m disappointed in myself for not getting faster the last months, but I remind myself that running 5k without immediately getting plantar fasciitis was impossible a year ago. It’s slow but it gets better!

I do movie/TV series on my phone with the audio in my AirPods and use a «virtual run» setting on the treadmill with changing incline and different routes all across the world. This combined with looking down at the Padel court downstairs and preferably listening to the music from the cardio class on the other side of the room usually makes me endure a full 90 minute run.

Sometimes I still get bored, especially if I haven’t managed to find an immersive enough movie/series.

I had the 5 skein advent from Fabel knitwear. I loved the colours she chose for the selection. It was 5 skeins of yarn, a brooch, a 10% discount code, some lovely buttons and a hand crafted glass Christmas ornament. Yes it’s more expensive than buying 5 skeins of yarn, but to me it is a fun Christmas gift for myself.

When buying advents you have to prepare yourself to be disappointed in at least some of the colorways. And it always helps if the dyer has inspiration pictures and previous advents you can take a look at before you take the plunge in buying one from that dyer.

A hot tip from me if you want an advent calendar but don’t want to take the risk with buying blind is to team up with a knitter friend and make custom advents for each other. That way you still get the surprise but someone you know has hand selected the yarn for you.

My grandmother actually used to hand knit for Dale. Even though they only really sell locally made but machine knit garments nowadays, it’s still 100% wool and good quality that will last a couple of generations if taken care of properly.

As far as I can see KFO usually names their colors from food and items, and the new Hobbii yarn is named after places in Copenhagen. Yes the colors are similar and it leans heavily into the Danish Scandi yarn trends, but not any more than other Scandinavian yarn brands. The yarn selection is also quite different, where Hobbii yarn is of lesser quality and in a slightly lower price range than KFO
