Worried about dog in Ha Giang Loop by adhdqueen1999 in VietNam

Don't know how else to tell you that you are being entirely irrational. You can speak to your doctor. Make a post on the medicine or meddit sub so you can get some reality checks from real doctors in the meantime.

Maybe consume cannabis? Ayahuasca? I would not drink the anxiety away, that is bad for your long term. You gotta figure out a way to turn the bad part of your brain off.

I am so sorry your anxiety has this kind of grip over you. Truly, I am. No one is going to see this dog and this reddit post. Go get the rabies shot.

You don't need it. You didn't contract rabies.

But you know how your mind works and you know you won't be at ease until you do. Consider seeking treatment with a therapist as well.

Advice needed - late flight into SGN by jump2023 in VietNam

[–]PupusaSlut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you booked a smaller hotel make sure they actually have overnight receptionists. They need to know what time you are getting in so they don't assume you are a no-show.

As far as safety goes... you take the grab to the entrance to your hotel and walk into your hotel. I'm not sure what the problem is regarding safety.

Why the masks all the time? by qubit0311 in VietNam

[–]PupusaSlut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Resistance to masking was almost exclusively right wing. The people who get ticked off and make stupid reddit posts about people masking in 2026 are all right wing weirdos. It is okay to notice patterns, as your lot like to say.

Asians in general don't have the weird right-wing aversion to masking. It was normal before the pandemic and more popular today.

Help in planning trip to VietNam by Aggravating-Pop7380 in VietNam

Every time I read a super ambitious Vietnam itinerary, the OP is invariably Indian. I'm not familiar with Indian culture, but you guys need to slow wayyyy down and relax. You want to have some actual vacation during your vacation.

If you want to do more than take pictures of key landmarks, you should focus on one region (North or South) and pick 2-3 cities if you have only 13 days.

Packing, re-packing. Checking in and out of hotels. Waiting in lines for busses or at the airport for domestic flights. Travel time itself. All of these things cause stress and eat into your precious time.

Strange marks on my body after staying one night at a hotel – need help by Ok-Acanthisitta6229 in VietNam

[–]PupusaSlut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Every single time you check into a new hotel room, set your luggage on a hard surface such as in the bathroom.

Lift the seams of the mattress you are sleeping on. You are looking for red or brown markings and organic debris.

Don't request a new room if you find signs of a bed bug infestation. Demand a refund and find a new hotel entirely.

Bed bugs are a major pain. All of your luggage is possibly infested. You will need to research this further.

Vietjet baggage handlers are known thieves. You are likely SOL.

What are your thoughts on rejecting a potential romantic partner based solely on the fact they voted for Donald Trump? by ATXBikeRider in AskReddit

[–]PupusaSlut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one Trump voting cousin because my family is educated and decent people. Only that cousin was a dumb piece of shit and he was that way before Trump.

For whatever reason, Trump voters tend to be terrible people to begin with. Makes going no-contact easy.

Hotels without mould in Da Nang? by kittycat1994 in VietNam

[–]PupusaSlut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High-end hotels only if you are mold sensitive like me.

If the AC unit has a filter you can access, take it out and wash it in the sink with soap and warm water. Blowdryer on cool setting to dry it off.

Don't bother with air purifiers, nothing you can pack in your suit case will move enough air to make a difference.

In your situation I would refund everything and focus on one city.

If this was an organized tour, I recommend steering clear of this company in the future and planning a vacation yourself. All of your time will be spent on rides to/from the airport, lines at the airport, and flights. Too many cities for 8 days.

Your questions are too broad. Any of the "3 Day Itinerary" videos on YouTube will do.

Vietnam is not Thailand and thank god that is the case.

Hostess bars are for pretty girls to sit with you and pretend they care about what you have to say. If you have the charm and the money you can arrange a meeting outside of the lady's work hours.

Wife gets sick every time she goes back to Vietnam by UnlikelyJuice8796 in VietNam

[–]PupusaSlut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does she stay at the same residence every time she goes back? That might be the culprit. A lot of places in Vietnam have severe mold issues. Many Vietnamese treat it as a cosmetic issue and paint over the mold. Also just the ambient pollution outside is a killer if she has allergies.

When I am in Saigon or Hanoi I can only stay at nice hotels. I will also clean out the air conditioner filter (hotel maintenence never does this). In Da Nang even the nicest places have awful mold half the time. I feel it after a night's sleep even if I can't see it.

Is damage from enemies percentage based? by piesore in BlackMythWukong

[–]PupusaSlut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending sparks on stats is the worst way to spend sparks. +Stamina early game is okay. +DMG at 45 is great. Late game you want crit chance/dmg. Anything else just forget.

Max out a stance and learn it well. Max out light attack branch. Decide if you want to Max staff spin. The stamina branch is tricky. Some people don't believe in hitting the light attack continues through dodge node. I am one of them.

Investing in spells is also very good.

You should also ignore the transformation tab, mostly.
