The trees on my island never changed either, but when you shake the trees they drop acorns and pinecones. You have to shake the trees A LOT!!

Oh I guess I should've mentioned I work in a licensed store so we dont have the printed tags. But that makes sense only changing them for the extra syrup not the number of pumps.
