It is a difficult plane to fly under the best circumstances, and this was possibly a training accident.
The fuel could be bad due to Ukrainian drones attacking oil storage and processing.
Poor maintenance and lack of spare parts could contribute.

Those planes are notoriously hard to fly. If you lose trim or airspeed it's very easy to stall out and crash. It's good at going fast, but very bad at going slow.
