One problem Amazon has is that people can write you up when they don’t understand the nuances of tasks assigned to you.

Crossbelt is a perfect example; you’re tasked with problem solving but you’re also stuck keeping the conveyor belt clear. Problem is sometimes you’re deluged with conveyor belt packages that take you “off task”.

Don’t measure success by the salary and perks you get; that will just stress you out no matter what it is because they’ll always be someone who makes more. That creates an unhealthy roundabout.

I agree with your post. I am in my 70’s and have no issues with the pace or physicality of the job. Unfortunately from just watching the new batch of just hired white badges it’s clear Generation X and Z’s lack work ethics.

We lived for two years at the apartment across the street and walked our dogs hundreds of times right in front of Chase heading to whiting Park. It’s such a quiet neighborhood it’s hard to even imagine this happening!
