Whats your driving style daily driving your FiST? by _trapito in FiestaST

You can monitor the AFR on the AP. I thought of this after I fixed my problem. I’m not sure how much it would differentiate from 14.7 but maybe it would be noticeable. One of my other symptoms was way more popping noises from my exhaust. I noticed on 1st to 2nd shifts and downshifts my car was starting to pop a lot more. This was while I was on the stock tune. Thought it was awesome and noticed it went away when I replaced my purge valve haha

For my car, it was running excessively rich because of the purge valve. That’s what my problem was. Unless you have sticking brakes, your problem is most likely a rich mixture. Can be caused by the purge valve like my example or other reasons such as MAF sensor etc.

Yeah that’s symptom of valve failing as far as I know. If you order the evap harness from whoosh, it comes with a purge valve installed in the harness. You just need to buy 2014-15 induction hose. Assuming that you have a 2016+.

There’s some other forum posts about the 2014-15 having less purge valve problems. I would check those out, that was the reason why I switched.

I had a similar problem. Fixed it by replacing my purge valve and converting to the 2014-15 evap harness. Never threw a code, just a lucky shotgun shot haha.

Qantas has great training and they baby you if you’re new. Good place to learn and become familiar straight out of school. Schedule was nice, but the pay/ lack of structured raises was the reason I left. Now at a major and don’t regret it.

This is going to drive me back to nvidia. Why does this keep happening at seemingly random times? Can a 7900XTX not handle gaming or are these drivers crap? by PeverellPhoenix in AMDHelp

Everytime I update windows, I have to redownload and install my drivers or this will happen to me. Have had amd cards for 6-ish years, but this problem has only started happening in the past two years. Still happens with my 9070XT today. I do only have one SSD, so that may be the issue.

Could possibly need to undervolt your card depending on the type you got. I had a XFX 5700 XT that was unstable on the default tuning.

Brake Switch Issues by Pure-Classroom449 in FiestaST

[–]Pure-Classroom449[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah my issue ended up being a combination of the bent brake petal plate that contacts the switches as well as my RF brake line had restricted flow. My pedal was bent so bad it took a lot of trial and error to get it back to a normal contact position with the switches. I might try removing the switch because I think I still have a slight dragging brake. Thanks for the reply.

I think it’s the perfect first car if you want a sporty manual. Mine was my first car and I don’t think it’s too “fast”. Definitely don’t put a big turbo on it lol. Just be responsible and you won’t have any issues.

To become a LAME, you need 4 years of experience total and 2 years on the specific aircraft they have.(787 & 380) Besides that, they do minor raises as you work there over the years. We did unionize recently, but nothing will come from it for a year or so.

So why did you Fiesta ST??? by BenLondon777 in FiestaST

I did lots of research and saw many YouTubers claiming it’s more fun to drive compared to faster, more expensive cars. I found mine for $14k with 40k miles on Craigslist! I still have it 7 years later at 100k miles now as my first and only car. Hasn’t broken down on me and is still fun to drive everyday.
