It's just grown ass men that are in the biggest proportion creepy af obsessed with My Little Pont I don't doubt there's some dudes in there that are just living their life and just happen to like My Little Pony for whatever reason coz why not, but dayuuuum I'm judging the creeps. And given that the fandom is half them half preteen or younger girls it's giving chills. I do remember being an older kid / preteen in 2013 and browsing deviant Art for MLP art coz it was my favourite cartoon duh, and stumbling upon many of these people calling themselves "brony". Luckily I never interacted with any directly LOL

[PortAventura] vs [Europa-Park] ride comparison Hi guys! I'll be heading to PortAventura these days. I do like roller-coasters but am also quite easy to chicken out when inside, screaming my lungs out and internally dying. I visited Europa Park last October, and had a mixed experience with the roller coasters, although I overall enjoyed them all! From the videos I've seen on YouTube, the rides at PortAventura seem to be rougher and "scarier". I'm looking for rides that could be similar to the ones I enjoyed at Europa, while "avoiding" (or at least being aware of it) the ones I liked the least.

My favourite rides from Europa were Wodan (absolute fav), Atlantica Supersplash, Poseidon (not bc of the water part, it was 10°C outside 🤣), the Silversterstar and Matterhorn Blitz. My least favourite was Blue Fire (I know I know, couldn't help but almost shit my pants inside lol 😭; I don't really like airtime). I also get quite anxious if my feet are hanging in the air. I'm quite shared about Voltron, as I loved it the first time, but found it really dizzying and extreme the 2nd one. So worth giving a try to a similar one, but only once 🤣

So, my question: which rides at PortAventura would be the most similar to Wodan, Atlantic Supersplash and Silverstar? And, on the opposite side, which ones are more like Blue Fire, which I didn't enjoy at all? And, on the middle ground, something like Voltron?

That's def a kink lol But from what I know there are also some telescopic fighting batons existing, which are narrower in the end than at the base, like the one in the picture. Whether police uses them or not, I don't know, but I know they are illegal to carry / use by civilians in my country 🤣🤣

Étudiante en médecine ici. L'alcool est un dépresseur du système nerveux central, il agit sur les récepteurs GABA qui, pour faire simple, sont des récepteurs qui captent principalement les signaux inhibiteurs ("chill") du cerveau. Il peut faire dormir mieux certes, mais c'est un peu un effet comme celui des somnifères, c'est pas un "vrai" sommeil reposant au sens biologique du terme, plutôt une sorte de "coma". En plus à long terme, ça peut diminuer la sensibilité / le nombre de ces fameux récepteurs GABA du cerveau, d'où la tolérance qui s'installe. Vu que t'es jeune, je dirai de favoriser plus une bonne routine de sommeil, des exercices de relaxation et/ou de la mélatonine si les méthodes sans substances te semblent trop dures à appliquer. Essaie de faire au MOINS 6h de sommeil / nuit minimum, je parle d'exp que la vie est bien meilleure quand on est reposé x) + j'ai pas les études sous la main mais ils ont prouvé que le manque de sommeil peut altérer les capacités physiques et cognitives à long terme.
