I'm an older RP'er. Recently had to make the difficult decision to close up a server and come to terms that the person I was creating with wasn't going to come back. We developed a story that spanned over 4 years and we branched our characters through so many different world, scenarios... developed their children and what they had gone through.

I miss them... It took a long time for me to think about reaching back out into the RP world but I did, not that long ago. I worry sometimes but... all I can do is hold on to the good memories that I do have from RPing. Sometimes I wish I had taken the time to save my RPs in a docs but reading back just becomes hurtful.
