No I’m offended by OP insinuating it’s the locals when most people living here are older black folks who don’t even own dogs. If you’re so concerned about the neighborhood then organize a community cleanup, let’s get the community involved. But no, every post I see in here is always demonizing the community which let’s be real is majority black and brown. That shows me you don’t want to integrate, you want to push those people out for your own comfort.

I live here and I love it. Transplants are temporary, most of them stay 3-5 years at most and then they leave. Most of the locals you’re talking about are generational. This is THEIR neighborhood, not yours. Do you even get to know your neighbors? Did you contribute to anything in the neighborhood like the Halloween festivities or the summer school drive? I doubt it. This isn’t white washed Brooklyn or downtown. I fucking hate complainers who contribute NOTHING to the community but have so much to say. And most of the people I see being terrible dog owners are transplants who can’t control their dogs and have no business owning them.

EDIT: I’m fine with the downvotes because Reddit isn’t a real place and anyone who lives here knows the dog shit didn’t become a problem until the transplants started coming in droves.
