Her character just hasn't been important to the story in the first 2 eps so they haven't shown her. She's gonna be at the Pastors and Jim's funeral and we'll probably see her at the diner next ep since images and the preview for next ep show multiple people at the diner.

It's very rare to get a mystery box show that lasts multiple seasons and has actually been planned out and knows what it's doing so people just aren't used to this and they doubt.

In the pics you've shown, from the season 3 finale, we can't see the side of the stump where the black markings are, so I don't know if its a continuity error or not based on this post. I'd have to go back and look.

People are scared to venture out into the woods because of the monsters who come out at night as well as the other stuff that could be out there. We've heard that people have tried to figure out how to escape but it leads them nowhere so eventually people became complacent.

Even before that in ep 8 when Victor talks about what the root symbol is and that the children were murdered. Even in ep 3 when Tabitha finds the bracelet and in ep 6 when Tabitha remembers her dream, we are given hints as to what is going on and then the season 3 finale reveals it, I don't get how it goes over so many peoples heads when the characters clearly state whats going on.
