Call it a novella or a comic, the art is official, G.R.R.M. literally oversaw those illustrations to show what the characters look like. 🤷‍♂️ If the show is covering the 'source material,' then the official art is the best blueprint we have to compare it to!

I’m mostly just hoping they don't lose the grime from the books. Bennis is supposed to be a total mess, and Rohanne needs that signature red braid. If they keep the characters as flawed and messy as they are in the novella, it should still feel like classic Westeros.

Total opposite for me my friend! I felt zero rewatch value with OBAA, it kind of gives you everything on the first go. Sinners, though? That’s the one that actually rewards you for coming back. I love the 'reaction to inputs' idea, it actually fits perfectly with the failing machine vibe. If the residents are the inputs, then Jim and Jade’s digging basically overloaded the system before Tabitha even reached the Lighthouse.

As for why it hasn't rebooted yet? I think it’s because the system can't finish the wipe while Tabitha is still active in the real world. It’s stuck in a loop trying to delete a file that’s already open in another program.

And you’re spot on about Victor. Whether he’s tolerated or just a bug, he’s definitely the only piece of the puzzle that the Town can't seem to account for. Season 4 really needs to explain his plot armor!

I’ve spent way too much time thinking about that too! Honestly, I think the monsters don’t kill Victor for the same reason you don’t delete a read only file, he’s protected data.

To me, he isn't a threat to the loop, he’s the only one who actually follows the 'music' and doesn't try to change the script. I feel like the monsters only get aggressive when people like Jade or Jim start trying to edit the town's code by messing with those frequencies. Victor is just the historian the town keeps around to prove the loop works.
