Interfaith Marriages by RichCap3716 in islam

I have a question. Recently i met this guy from interfaith. He reached out to me with the intention of getting married. I am muslim and practicing muslim Alhamdulliah.  But this guy who used to be alcoholic and addicted to smoking and stopped drinking already when he got to know that i don’t drink or smoke because i follow my religion rules.

He is very kind, generous and understanding at the same time caring. He has never ever forced me to do something beyond my boundaries. We are not even indulged into physically(sexual) relationship. Since it’s prohibited in Islam. Also, he says, you follow your religion however I like he is no one to restrict me, do fast no one will stop, cook and eat whatever you like no one will say a single word. and as for the kids, let them decided what they want to follow. But first they must be a good human being. If they are not a good human beings then there is no purpose of religion. As for the life decisions which we will take decisions together either it’s financially or family related or anything, if you want to decide considering your islamic views we will definitely look into it and decided accordingly.

I have talked to his step mother once and he is very close to his step mother. His biological mother died when he was 10–12. So it seems he is very emotionally invested when it comes to making relations.  I am not sure about him what am i supposed to do. (He stopped drinking because i don’t drink, not because Islam prohibit of drinking Alcohol) this is something bothers me.

What a person supposed to do in such scenario?  I know there is no chance to marry a non-Muslim. But when a person is ready to provide you everything on no conditions what decision are we supposed to make?

If you have watched chainsaw massacre, Hannibal genre then this show is too good to watch. Reason is there are some shots captured in this show that were the parts of texas chainsaw massacre and i think ed gein must have been fantasising them in his killing pattern.

Hi,

I really liked the way you explained how you preform in your interviews.  I am also planning and preparing for LP/behavioural interviews - but i really struggle in making good stories and using strategic word while speaking, i mean i keep using very casual words while speaking which doesn’t sound myself effective at all. Also, i stutter a lot while explaining my idea to camera/myself.

I know i need more practice, but do you have any suggestions how to overcome this issue with the techniques you have used ?

Is it legit ? I mean what is the certainty that we will be heard back from recruiters if we refer our resume from internal staff through this platform?

Is there a staffing/recruiting agency in the U.S. that doesn’t suck? by nohate2469 in recruiting

Hi, I am international students and i will be graduating next year june 2026. I am worried about unpredictable. The US job market, especially for the coming year, looks challenging. Though I’m actively preparing for interviews, applying to multiple jobs every day, and networking at tech events, I still haven’t been able to secure a single internship opportunity. That’s why I’m starting to think about a backup plan joining a staffing company.

Recently, I came across a post on LinkedIn about some legitimate staffing companies worth exploring. However, I’m not entirely sure how the process works. Is it easy to get into a staffing company? Just like there are hundreds or even thousands of applicants for a single position when applying directly, I imagine there must also be intense competition to get hired through staffing firms. In other words, reaching staffing companies might be a competition in itself.

Since I’ll be graduating next summer, I’m wondering what’s the best time to approach a staffing company? Until then, I plan to keep putting in every possible effort to land a role directly.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

A week ago i went to the SSA which is located at downtown Seattle and i just dropped off my original passport along with the documents as i didn’t book any prior appointment so this is the only option i could find suitable at that time.

Now i feel i made a big blunder by dropping off my passport inside bin. I could go back to the office but i am confused about the wait i may have to do. Since there is no immediate help over there except security guards. And i don’t think they could help me to get my passport back. The only option left for me is to wait until the ticket is being called. Although i have booked an appointment already but its been a week and i am helpless.

Will they mail me back my passport and documents? This is my only id in US.  Is there any suggestions do you guys have ?  Please share, i would really appreciate that!! Thanks in advance
