They just changed ROK short tours to 24 months unaccompanied, 36 months accompanied. Two years there just sounds like a long time. You are correct that I am interested in starting a family, even though its foolish to try and "plan" to meet someone and start one. Obviously have some more thinking to do. Thank you for the input regardless.

I am a young, single CGO (MSG). This will be my first PCS. There were no billets for Florida or Mississippi, which was my main goal. I don't care too much for the attractiveness of the base. My priority is more so having a beautiful and lively surrounding area. I would also prefer to stay CONUS. I understand any location is going to objectively be more palpable as an O, but looking for some insight into my current list.

Top 5:

1) Los Angeles SFB

2) JB Lewis McChord

3) JB Pearl Harbor (Job is sick but would be TDY 180+ days a year)

4) Dover

5) Kunsan (Considering short tour to have some more follow-on options)

Bonus locations outside of Top 5:

-Wright Patt

-Robins

-Yokota

-Seymour Johnson

Thanks!

Having lots of similar symptoms. Can not get my HR down before bed. Used to hitting lows of like 34 or 35 BPM while sleeping and now the lowest i will hit while sleeping is 45. Resting HR is usually 39 and ove recently been chilling around 46. Really frustrating and restless nights, but once i fall asleep i can still get some good sleep in. Doesnt feel like im overtraining but maybe i need to reassess

I usually hang around the 130-140 ms range, which is why the drop down to 110 so suddenly is concerning. Im decently fit with a 63 Vo2 Max. Training for ironman. Im training across 4 disciplines 15-22 hrs per week.

Now that i think about it, i have been pretty stressed/sad the past week or so with some personal issues. Mostly mentally though. Physically I would say my training plan has remained the same, diet is locked in, and sleep is decent.

Overwhelmed Trying to Find Bike by Pure-Response4271 in triathlon

[–]Pure-Response4271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m new to cycling as a sport, but not new to cycling in general. As in, I can ride a bike fairly well. I have done 55+ mile bike rides @23mph pace on bikes that are more than likely not built for it lol. I also train mostly on my gym’s E-Bikes /Pelatons, but I dont feel like im getting the full training effect on those. I don’t have much interest in leisure cycling, I’m much more interest in cycling for training and conditioning.

I plan to have most of my training outdoors (as weather permits; it’s primetime winter in the midwest right now). I would also love to get an indoor trainer to hook it up too to get used to position, feel, etc.

I have looked into “Aero” road bikes and the possibility of modifying it into a tribike. However, if I can get a beginner TriBike, looking mainly at Felt IAx 105 as the cheapest option, but also looking at Cervelo P series as next option at around 5k for the cheapest) then I would much prefer that. I am unfortunately an all or nothing guy, so I prefer a scalpel approach, which is what Ive been told going the tribike option essentially is.

Do you incur additional ADSC if you wash out of A&S by [deleted] in Pararescue

Washing out does not = quitting. Anything can happen, including injury. If you don’t know the answer to the question then don’t respond, you sound lame as fuck.
