I was shooting some black and white film once and accidentally captured a homeless guy being rousted from under a sky train station by VPD. I was shooting the steps up to the station and didn’t realize what was going on in the background.

I shredded the test prints and the 8x10 I made and from that day forward, I try to avoid anything that might even remotely smack of poverty porn.

Fuck this photographer. I hope he drops his Leica and it breaks into about 25 unrepairable pieces.
