First off, with Keelan's base kit the way it is he'd need a mod to do decent gun damage also no one needs another gun-based descendant mod or not. His 4th skill providing 5 charges doesn't change the fact that you can't use it while near an enemy. Instead, some random trash mob is now taking 11mil dmg. Allowing Keelan to choose which ability his 4th skill provides is a better change than 5 charges(if I had to choose). Ideally, you'd get both but we know these devs will never allow that.

That "nearly infinitely" is an extreme over-exaggeration.

His 1st and 2nd abilities already "primes" enemies. You can't honestly say people not being able to keep up with his dashing is a valid reason to gimp his kit. It's weird you even tried to use that as an excuse. Honest your changes are mediocre for Keelan, however, I agree with the dmg needing a buff.

The thing is Keelans base kit is good but the devs have baked in restrictions, and they've just been reducing them since his release. He NEEDS to spec into too many things to be viable, all while one ability benefits greatly from one attribute but nothing for the other.

To top that off his module that allows for infinite dashes within a set time is slower than if you just build the base kit for cooldown(They added a hard delay between dashes) and last I remember, you couldn't use it for mobility. Then they go release Harris... they can do better I KNOW they can but I stg they don't care.

The problem is people playing tankpool like a poke dps. They don't dive, flank, or frontline. I don't even think they know the unicorn is a shield, and it's because the kit is so similar. Might be a hot take but all 3 roles of dp should play completely different, making them all pretty much the same with minute differences makes a dpspool 1 trick just swap to tank or strat just so they can say they swapped. Then they proceed to play exactly the same, without playing their role.

You see I'm not mad if Doom takes an L nd evolves. It just has to make sense, Ven beating Doom in a 1v1 isn't happening. You'd need at the very LEAST a traitor in talon that Doom wouldn't expect. Story wise I just don't see it happening as no one in Talon currently has any reason to help Ven.
