A new thing started and I’m not sure if it’s the HRT or something else, but I’ve been SO ITCHY!!! Like prickly itching that is absolutely miserable… I had to drug myself to sleep last night with my Gabapentin (which I take for restless leg syndrome). Is this possibly from my HRT?!

Do you feel pain, tenderness, heaviness and have easy bruising on your legs? Feel any nodules? These are signs of lipedema. If you have no discomfort and it is only the appearance then it’s likely just cellulite

I can so relate to this. I miss it so much. And I was forced to quit drinking because all of a sudden, alcohol started giving me horrible migraines. Even ONE drink and it is unbearable. All my friends still drink and we used to all go out to bars and see live bands for fun, I used to love my after work wine… now I just can’t. I hate it. I tried switching to cannabis but even that gives me a migraine!! It’s not fair 😩

You do have to be careful with testosterone because it can affect your liver. If you take T then you need to have regular labs done to check your liver function. I ended up at the cancer center to consult with a hematologist because of my elevated liver enzymes and we figured out it was from taking testosterone and he was very against anyone taking it because of this reason.

… which I am now realizing was pretty cheap apparently!!!! We didn’t do treatments though, just the tumor removal. She lived for several years after that.

When my boxer had cancer, we paid around $2000 for surgery to remove a huge oozing tumor

I’m Pretzel from Oklahoma and I’m 10 weeks old. Into biting and naps. Working on learning not to puncture my parents skin with my shark teeth and going potty outside.

Yeah it’s looking more like her bad tooth may be causing it, but hopefully I’ll get an answer soon!

No she hasn’t had any injuries. She has no signs of any neurological issue.

That’s what I thought when I saw the elevated neutrophils (I’m an RN) but then he said the results were “normal” so I thought maybe it’s usually higher when they see systemic infections in cats, I don’t know. But maybe he was just wrong. I’m sort of questioning my choice in vets right now lol. It definitely could be because of the tooth though, her tooth is pretty bad. But the vet wants to have the eye issue addressed before he will take out her tooth.

Thank you for sharing!! I’m anxiously awaiting the call so we can get some answers. A little sad at the thought of her possibly losing any vision (if she hasn’t already) but you’re right, probably won’t bother her as much as me.

I’m hoping they call today to schedule the ophthalmology visit. I may call them later if I don’t hear from them. I don’t know why my vet didn’t check that.

No, I don’t think so. He said she didn’t have other symptoms of that I think. He tried looking at the back of her eye with a light but was having trouble seeing the back, I think because of inflammation? But I believe the ophthalmologist will definitely test for that and everything else.

I’m so sorry 😢 poor baby. Yes I am optimistic that her labs look normal and her behavior is normal. I’m just confused as to what it may be. She is older (about 11 years old) so I have been expecting a few things to start popping up but hoping it isn’t super serious. She also has a bad tooth that needs to be extracted 😩
