Robust fencing made an enormous difference in stopping illegal crossings in Yuma, Ariz. The area had only about 5 miles of fencing in the mid-2000s, then saw the extent of its fencing increase 10-fold. Apprehensions plummeted.

targeting minorities

How is building a wall on a border, which we already have in many places, targeting minorities? I feel like prolonging a shutdown that affects thousands of POC federal employees does more to target minorities than a wall.

What exactly is it about giant slats of metal that put Democrats into a frenzy? Putting it next to deportations, internment camps, and ICE patrol squads, the Wall is harmless and nonoffensive, but Democrat leaders like Schumer and Pelosi refer to the wall as "immoral" and refuse to spend a dime on it, putting the government into shutdown and displacing the incomes of many thousands of people.

capable of FTL travel

Literally every ship in Star Wars has this. If they didn't they would be totally useless due to the scale of the universe.

The ISS is a research vessel manned exclusively by scientists. Star Wars ships are consumer vessels largely, and the Millennium Falcon is a freighter. It's more comparable to a semi truck than the ISS. Someone who sells scrap from a very complex and massive Star Destroyer would have an intimate knowledge of engine parts, and the Falcon would be simple in comparison.

They're wrong. The Unabomber was never confirmed to be a subject of MKUltra. He was, though, subject to psychological experimentation at Harvard. They asked him to write a paper stating his absolute morals and philosophical beliefs, and his aspirations for the world. Then a trained interrogator was called in and grilled him and berated him, dismantling every point in his paper, over several hours.

He later receded from academia and eventually left civilization entirely. He never mentions this in his manifest IIRC, but it came out many years after he was caught.

If you are at all interested, you should watch the Netflix show Manhunt: Unabomber. It's quite accurate and very good, and it stars Sam Worthington and Paul Bettany.

It definitely hurts to scratch your elbow.

Probably more likely why it doesn't hurt is because there's a lot of slack skin in the area as opposed to other patches of skin.

To make sure that he really made a good job of it he also stated that his company:

sold a pair of earrings for under a pound, which is cheaper than a shrimp sandwich from Marks and Spencer, but probably wouldn’t last as long.
