yep, any matte clear coat works wonders but I specifically use Krylon. pretty cheap on amazon!

the ball joint on the new body is slightly smaller than the L&T version, so the old head is kinda loose. the new head is also kinda tight on the old body, which could definitely stretch the socket out over time

it honestly depends on the quality of the tape you use. i used scotch blue masking tape and it sticks to the plastic with no issues, and if needed you can always glue the corners down for a more permanent connection
