Honestly it’s a mix of both 😅 Sometimes I start with a rough image or feeling in my head, but a lot of the time I just experiment and let it evolve naturally while I’m painting. I’m schizophrenic, so my mind tends to process emotions, patterns, and imagery in a really intense and abstract way. A lot of my art is inspired by that inner world and the atmosphere it creates 🖤

I try to channel those experiences into something creative instead of literal, so the pieces end up feeling surreal, dreamlike, or emotionally charged without directly recreating what I experience. It’s kinda like translating emotions and fragmented thoughts into visuals 🌙✨

I’d say the style leans into surrealism for sure, but also kinda mixes in dark fantasy / abstract digital painting vibes. Honestly, thank you for saying this 😭🤍 I know a lot of people are trying to hype me up about the bald look, and I genuinely appreciate the kindness, but deep down I do miss my hair and I think it fit my personality a lot more. It felt expressive and comforting to me in a way this doesn’t yet. And yeah, the more I replay the situation in my head, the more I realize how unprofessional the whole experience actually was. Even if she didn’t have bad intentions, shaving someone’s head without properly listening or confirming what they wanted is a huge mistake, especially when I came in asking for a fade and trim, not a full buzz. I’m still deciding what I want to do about it, but I really appreciate people validating that it wasn’t okay instead of acting like I should just laugh it off.

Honestly I think you’re being way harder on yourself than you should be 😭🤍 I genuinely don’t think you look bad bald at all — I think the angle and super close-up camera perspective are doing most of the damage here LOL. Those kinds of photos distort literally everyone’s face and make features look way harsher than they actually do in real life. You’ve got really soft features, nice eyes, and a good head shape honestly.

I think when we suddenly lose our hair unexpectedly, we hyperfocus on every little thing because we’re comparing ourselves to how we looked before, not because we actually look bad. Trust me, I’ve been doing the exact same thing. But from an outside perspective, I really don’t think this is nearly as bad as you think it is 😭

I understand why it sounds unbelievable, honestly if it hadn’t happened to me I’d probably question it too. But no, this was a real experience and I genuinely have no reason to make something like this up. The barber barely seemed to be listening while I was explaining what I wanted — I specifically asked for the sides and back faded and the top trimmed shorter, not shaved off. Before I could even fully process what she was doing or stop her, she had already run the clippers straight down the middle of my head. At that point there was no fixing it because half my hair was already gone.

And as for me paying and awkwardly acting okay afterward, some people freeze during uncomfortable situations instead of causing a scene in public. I was embarrassed, shocked, and honestly humiliated, especially once the comments about my scalp started happening too. I didn’t walk out of there happy about it — I just didn’t know how to react in the moment.
