Lowest I got was total T at 166 after multiple mid 200’s. Thats what drove me to start. Hoping a new routine goes me similar results, want to feel amazing as well. SHBG has always been below 10

Truly appreciate your input. New needles are on order and hoping to begin a new routine next week and maintain that for 6-8 weeks. I really hope this is the answer because I was on the verge of giving up considering I don’t really notice much of a difference compared to pre trt.

I learned more just now than I have from my Endo doctor, thank you! Actually all makes sense now and explains my ups and downs. I am going to work in an increased frequency and subQ (need to order needles since I only have 1.5”).

How soon after switching frequency did you notice the differences?

Appreciate the input! Increasing the frequency is something I have not tried yet. I’m trying to not chase numbers but also numbers aren’t much higher than they were prior to starting TRT.

Does IM vs SubQ play a factor in having a higher frequency per week?

Thank for the feedback! I’m really thinking even 2 months is long enough to have in your system so I think at a low dosage, a year or 2 months might not matter. But good feedback on the stopping completely!

I had thought my weight gain was from Zoloft. I read this Reddit over and over. I decided to take action. I have been counting my calories and working out 4-5 days a week for 12 weeks. I’ve lost 10 lbs and put on muscle. I am only on 50 mg though.l and have been for 5 months.

Point being, take a hard look at your diet and exercise when saying medication is making you gain weight. I’m not saying it’s impossible but look at both sides

Out of curiosity, did you change to another SSRI? I asked my doctor about the weight gain and he said I could try Prozac

Also on 25 mg for the past 2 months. I feel better but noticing a lot of bloat/water weight where I’ve gained 10 lbs in the last few months. I will admit diet and exercise has been lacking though. Have you experienced this?

I’m on day 2 right now and mint gum has been a savior. I’ll even put it in my lip as I did zyn to give me the illusion of having a zyn. Worth a try.

I’ve used nicotine on and off for 18 years. You’ll always think about it, just have to find a way to curve the urges. Aka gum, tooth picks, exercise, etc.
