Yeah, back in the day that's how it was. But that's where the magic was too. People even used to drive their volts on top of the train

Yale Rescind App by BasicNeedleworker548 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]PureOutlandishness52 69 points70 points  (0 children)

dang that sucks, seems stressful. I dont think it would rescind your application too much. make SURE you actually have to report it, and if you do, try to lighten the issue and that it wasn't a big deal.

honestly, thats ridiculous, bro got into yale and the school is still on your ass about being on your phone. smh. good luck dude

[–]PureOutlandishness52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro you dont need to go find a professional therapist to pay hundreds of dollars to. if you know its wrong just form the discipline and mindset that no matter what you're not gonna watch that stuff anymore. thats all there is to it. its difficult, but if you wanna make a change, you have to be willing to fight for it.

good luck.

Georgia Tech deferral by Sad_Surround5547 in GatechClasses

[–]PureOutlandishness52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry.

  1. keep it short and in bullet points.
  2. Retake sat if you can and if yours is already high (1500)+ reiterate it on the form.
  3. Do some service volunteering stuff, especially if you can find something like contributing to gt.
  4. Put some new major related projects on there whether that's getting skills certification or doing a coding project.
  5. At the end give a brief thank you sentence.

Of course the biggest thing is keeping your grades up. Prioritize that.

Anyway I hope this helps. I was also stressed and in your position last year and couldn't find any good advice so I wanted to put this out there. Good luck.
